Metaphorical time! I got this idea from imagianary_80's "Really that importan?" Thread on SNS. I saw and made a few SNS metaphors, and got this idea.

The rules are simple. You make a MEtaphor, then post something for someone else to make into a MEtaphor. Simple enough, anyway.

I'll start off with Tetris.

Tetris is like an illegal drug. Its addictive, and too much of it can damage your health.

Now someone make a metaphor about...ooh, Ninjas. And off we go!

Polititions are like SNS, they never seem to make sense.

Grammar lesson time: A metaphor is a direct comparison between two things (I am a flower; The bird is a musical instrument) that actually states two things as being equal.

A simile is a comparison to two unlike things, using "like" or "as" to describe them. (The mirror is cold like my heart, He was a smart as a brick.)


Now, give me a metaphor (Not a simile) about Cheese.
