View Full Version : What's Going On?

Dylan Yoshi

I was a little skepticle about posting this one after last night's A Puzzle incident, however, I've decided this isn't nearly as hard. Also, if you already know the answer, don't say anything. I doubt anyone here knows the answer, but I'm just making sure.

Okay, so here's the deal. A man releases an animal, discovers riches beyond his wildest dreams, and gets chased away by a native with a good sense of smell.

What the hell is going on here? Start guessing.

Edit: Oh yes. Feel free to ask Yes or No questions.

The the animal crap out the riches?

This one is gonna be really hard.....

Dylan Yoshi
26th July 2007, 04:26 AM
Nope.

P.o.t.O
26th July 2007, 05:02 AM
Are these riches monetary?

Jinjonator
26th July 2007, 05:45 AM
Did he steal a rare animal, sell it, and now a native is hunting him down to kill him?

firealpha

Releases a pig, finds a boatload of truffles, gets chased away by a native pig?

Atomic Breegull
26th July 2007, 03:53 PM
For the life of me, I cannot figure it out.... But I have an odd feeling it has to do with hallucinogenic drugs.... o-O

Dylan Yoshi
26th July 2007, 04:49 PM
No, no, no, and no.

Remember, you can ask yes or no questions to make this easier at all.

BanjoKazooieSNS
26th July 2007, 04:54 PM
...35?

firealpha
26th July 2007, 04:57 PM
Is the native an animal of some sort?

ConkerKing
26th July 2007, 05:00 PM
Spanish Inquisition?

(Note that I will not seriously be participating in this beause..the last one like this gave me a serious migrane..:-/)

Dylan Yoshi
26th July 2007, 05:23 PM
BKSNS: Uh... No?

Firealpha: No.

Conkerking: Naw.

BanjoKazooieSNS
26th July 2007, 05:53 PM
Firealpha: No.
So they aren't human?

repobanjo
26th July 2007, 05:55 PM
I think you know what he means.

Is the animal a farm animal?

firealpha
26th July 2007, 06:00 PM
So they aren't human?
Haha, I thought that, too.
So that means the native is a plant, fungus, bacteria or that other classification.

Are the riches derived from a food?

Atomic Breegull
26th July 2007, 06:10 PM
I know what's going on: A bad reality show.

Amiright? ;)

Dylan Yoshi
26th July 2007, 06:24 PM
Um, the native is a human. :p

Yes, the animal is a farm animal.

No, not a reality show.

Atomic Breegull
26th July 2007, 06:27 PM
No, not a reality show.
!@*#!!?%

repobanjo
26th July 2007, 08:04 PM
Is it a pig?

Dylan Yoshi
26th July 2007, 08:05 PM
Nope.

BanjoKazooieSNS
26th July 2007, 09:09 PM
Um, the native is a human. :p
Well you said that the natives were not animals and (as much as I hate to admit it) humans are animals... ok I'll shut up now.

Ummm, Mr. Bean let go of a cow at the end of his skit, then he got his pay check and got a lot of money, and the natives to the show (camera people etc) were pissed off, because they were being payed minimum wage so they started to attack Mr. Bean.

PWNAGE?

repobanjo
26th July 2007, 09:40 PM
Does this take place in the USA?

Dylan Yoshi
26th July 2007, 09:43 PM
BKSNS: Nope. Keep in mind there's only one native.

Repo: It doesn't take place in any particular place.

P.o.t.O
27th July 2007, 01:54 AM
Are aforementioned riches Manure?

repobanjo
27th July 2007, 01:57 AM
Would this not have happened if the native didn't have a good sense of smell?

This is way too ****ing hard.

P.o.t.O
27th July 2007, 01:59 AM
This is way too ****ing hard. Now I know what it feels like to be on the other end.

Quiet, Mr. Start.

Dylan Yoshi
27th July 2007, 02:50 AM
P.o.t.O: No.

Repo: It probably wouldn't have happened, no.

Edit: I'm gonna go ahead and drop a clue here. By "releasing the animal", it didn't involve releasing him into the wild but rather something much, much, different.

Atomic Breegull
27th July 2007, 03:01 AM
He won a bet on a dog in some dogfight, but was then chased away by... someone... because dogfights are illegal.

....That is so not the answer, I'm sure, but it's the best I could come up with. :-/ You said this would be easier.

Dylan Yoshi
27th July 2007, 03:04 AM
Yeah, it's not the answer.

I'm gonna drop a big clue tomorrow unless this starts going somewhere by then.

repobanjo
27th July 2007, 03:07 AM
Is "Releasing the animal" some sort of sexual term?

Dylan Yoshi
27th July 2007, 03:09 AM
No. It's not sexually related in any way, shape, or form.

firealpha
27th July 2007, 12:37 PM
Are the riches derived from a food?

Dylan Yoshi
27th July 2007, 05:27 PM
No.

Okay, hint. The animal is a cow. This should speed things up a bit.

Atomic Breegull
27th July 2007, 05:30 PM
.....

I got nothing.

firealpha
27th July 2007, 05:34 PM
.....

I got nothing.
Ditto.

repobanjo
27th July 2007, 06:36 PM
Did the man "release the animal" of it's milk?

ConkerKing
27th July 2007, 06:55 PM
Animal is inside of mansion. Man breaks into mansion, releases the animal while he's stealing stuff (riches), and the owner finds him doing it..and chases him away. Because he smelt bad.

:teach:

Dylan Yoshi
27th July 2007, 07:08 PM
No and no.

By release the animal, I mean he no longer owns it.

repobanjo
27th July 2007, 07:16 PM
OK, well you just revealed the whole first part of the story. He disowns a cow...

Does the person find the riches immediatly after releasing the cow?

Dylan Yoshi
27th July 2007, 08:53 PM
Not immediatly, no.

Dylan Yoshi
28th July 2007, 01:33 AM
Okay, I'm gonna have to drop EXACTLY how the animal was "released", as you guys aren't getting it.

The man sold the cow.

Dylan Yoshi
28th July 2007, 10:49 PM
Stop making me multipost. :p

Okay, I'm gonna drop a few new hints. The man was seemingly ripped off after selling the cow. The man also has a specific name. The man was also quite poor.

Atomic Breegull
28th July 2007, 10:51 PM
No idea. D:

Dylan Yoshi
28th July 2007, 10:54 PM
Okay, lemme get you started.

Did the man's name start with A? No.
Did the man's name start with K? No.

Continue.

Jinjonator

Dylan Yoshi
29th July 2007, 02:02 AM
Okay, the guy's name starts with J.

Atomic Breegull
29th July 2007, 02:04 AM
.....I give up.

Dylan Yoshi
29th July 2007, 02:16 AM
The name ends with a k.

Come on, it should be getting obvious by now. :p

Gaming Master2k
29th July 2007, 02:23 AM
I've only read the last few posts but the guy is Jack from 'Jack and the Beanstalk' and he gets rid of his cow, gets the money from the giant and is chased by him.

Atomic Breegull
29th July 2007, 02:26 AM
OH SH--

Dang. So close.

Dylan Yoshi
29th July 2007, 02:33 AM
YES. FINALLY.

You win, GM2K.

Atomic Breegull
29th July 2007, 02:35 AM
Aw, I almost had it.

Actually, I was no where near having it. But oh well. XD

repobanjo
29th July 2007, 03:14 AM
At the end, it became really obvious. I wouldn't have gotten it, most surely, but it looked obvious.

I guess I'm tired from all my Guitar Hero playing.

Also, expect a new A Puzzle sometime soon.
