TGOT Points!

Introducing...the ones, the only... TGOT points. You can also call them T-Points, or anything else you want.

What are TGOT points you ask? Well, every once in a while, I will post in this thread showing how many points everyone has. How do you get points? There are several different ways.

1. Get nominated for points. Members should send nominations in the form of PMs to Theguyoverthere (me ;)). You can't nominate yourself. In a PM you send, state why you think certain member(s) deserve points. The more reasons you give me, and more convincing you are, the more points they can get. Links to specific posts are worth bonus points ;)

2. If I find a post of yours I like, whether it be funny, interesting, odd, deep, or just plain cool, you might get points. I will link to these posts when I announce the winners of TGOT points.

3. You fall into a mystery category chosen by a mystery person. Each "round" will have a hidden objective. If someone fufills this, they get points and get to be the next people to choose the next mystery category! So, if you win this, PM me whatever you want the next mystery category to be. It could be something like "Funniest Post" or "First person to post a new topic" or "First person to reply to this new topic I made" or anything, really. Right now I've chosen a mystery category first, so the person I find that fills that category will get to be the next "mystery person" and get to choose it next time.

4. I just think you're doing an awesome job as a member, moderator, or administrator.

Now, I bet you're all wondering. What can you do with TGOT points? Well, bragging rights is the main thing. Every "round" the perosn with the highest total points gets a spot in my signature and is highly praised. I can't really think of any other uses though. It's sort of like reputation, useless, but nice to have.

So.... This may seem a bit overwhelming, so if you have any questions just ask.

The first round starts now. I will be awaiting any PM nominations, searching for good posts and members, watching out for that mystery category, and so on.

Alright, update time.

This round was a fun one. First off, I just want to congratulate Repobanjo on his excellent work of cracking the mystery category. I don't know if he cheated or not, but what are you gonna do?

Let me explain. Stalker Pizza did, in fact suggest a mystery category. It was "first member to spam". At first I thought this was silly. I was going to tell everyone that the PMs are open for anyone to choose, but then I saw Repo's post.

Pure genious.

So, he gets 4 points for being the first person who spammed. That was apparently the mystery category, as chosen by stalker pizza. Repo, PM me your idea for the next mystery category.

greatman3388 gets 2 complimentary points. One for nominating himself in a PM (pretty clever ;)) and the other for being the only member who sent a PM that round! Good job.

In his PM, he mentioned ConkerKing. Have a look for yourself.
Seriously though, i'd like to nominate ConkerKing. For changing his avatar atleast 4 or 5 times in the last week. Not to mention, he makes some pretty good posts (i can't find any ATM), and is generally pretty funny. I think he deserves a few.

ConkerKing gets a nice 2 points. Woulda been three if a specific link was given, but 2 is still pretty nice. Way to go Conker King! You little avatar-changer!

And finally, Banjo's Banjo gets 5 points (or "TGOT Tokens", if you will ;))for this (http://rarewitchproject.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11199) topic, which had a hilarious animation thing in it. Way to go! You win my favorite topic award for this round.
