Gamecube soft-reset

I did the soft-reset for the gamecube in mario power tennis but i couldnt use the same code in other games. Is there one for all games?

The code is X-B-Start, right? It doesn't work for all games. Some games have it, but toehrs don't. There is no other soft reset codes.

oh. ok. thanks for clearing that up repobanjo. I had the code but it didnt work in some other games so I thought there was another one that did it.
