Mid-way through one of the matches, Andre couldn't handle the heat, so he left, and also (accidentally?) prounounced my name like the "y" was an "e."

The first game that we were both in was the Team Slayer match on Foundation (1/6/05, 7:10 PM) and the last was the Custom Slayer match on Coagulation (1/6/05, 7:31 PM), in which Andre quit mid-match. ;) The reason most of the games ended up with just one team in the end was because we were playing a fan-made scenario/setup called "Dawn of the Dead" or "Zombies," depending on who you ask, and that tends to...end up with one team at the end.

Note that bungie.net is having some issues right now, so you may get Internal Server Errors or other such error messages. If you do, just reload the page.

The game ended early, because the host was going to show us a trick (how to jump up a part of the level's wall), but I had to go, so I didn't get to see it. :(

If you're not careful, you can get banned from Xbox Live, because they supposedly run a hardware integrity check whenever you connect. 'Course, you could probably turn the chip off if you have one of those chips with switches on, but you should be careful, nonetheless...

EDIT #2: Look at the price, the bloke I got it from charged me AU$120 (he also installed it) This comes with instructions on how to install it and it's only AU$24.60, I was ripped off! :mad:

Screw the router. Just move your TV near close enough to your modem so that you can directly connect, and swap the Ethernet cable out whenever you want to play on Live. :p

OK, so maybe that isn't the best idea, because, after a while, it might strip the cable's connector. But hey - I use it, so it must be a somewhat good idea. ;) (When I get around to taking a picture of my desk, you guys'll be able to see my Live setup.)

Some community sites have set up profiles to allow for Gamercards in profiles, such as Red vs Blue. Here's (http://rvb.roosterteeth.com/members/profile.php?uid=3930) an example of that in action.

Maybe. ;) Adding Gamercards to profiles might cause a few problems, though, such as uglifying the profile page, thanks to the non-RWP color scheme (and the title bar turns silver if the person doesn't have an Xbox Live Gold account). Additionally, people won't be able to view the full Gamercard page and game/Achievement (http://gordraf.digibase.ca/rwpwiki/index.php/Achievements) details without a Microsoft .NET Passport. The reason something like this works at Red vs Blue is because the community is primarily made up of Xbox fans that probably already have a .NET Passport - you needed one if you wanted to link your Gamertag to your Bungie.net account and display "Bungie.net" behind your name in Halo 2.

That aside, Gamercards in profiles could add a little flavor to profile pages. Being able to show off your Gamercard means that you can 1) er..."express yourself" with your gamer picture (all of these are Microsoft-approved, so users can't add offensive, self-created gamer pictures to their 'Cards), 2) let everyone know which games you're currently playing, 3) give everyone an idea of how you game with others (your Rep; if you get enough bad feedback, this takes a hit), and 4) let everyone know what gaming style you associate with (Pro, Recreation, Underground, and Family).

Of course, I'm assuming that the Gamertag field is custom HTML that's only included when the user has specified their Gamertag. If it isn't, then there might be a bunch of profiles with empty Gamercards, which would look pretty dumb. Note that if a user has not played any Xbox 360 games online/only played Xbox 1 games online the Gamercard will only display their Gamertag, account type (Gold or Silver), and the Xbox logo for their gamer picture.

My suggestion would be to temporarily stick Gamercards in profiles with Gamertags and see how they look; if they detract from the page, then my suggestion would be to yank 'em and pretend I never brought this up in the first place. :)
