I am bored today, so I decide to replay bt on pj64. I locked up my n64 and banjo games long ago and didn't want to rip them out.
So the game runs fine. I don't see how anyone can get a low fps if they have a modern computer. Anyway, it all goes fine untill I get to the first challange.
Sadly the challanges don't work. You can't see the moving picture. I was able to do it, but the entire puzzle was white :(
I guess I'll have to have jiggywiggy special on :( :( :(

Why not just purchase a $14 Gamebridge from Amazon? You can then play ANY system on your cpu and record/take screenshots. :) It's awesome.

Would it still require the roms?

Not at all. You just plug in the Audio/Video cables of any console and play the games directly on your computer. And if you feel the need to record or take screenshots of something then both of those options are available.

Ok, I just checked. It seems that I would have to take my near mint n64 and banjo games out to play them.. With wired controllers..
Sorry, I don't think thats for me. I would like to keep banjo not broken

That would be bad in so many ways..
I live in my bed, at my computer, and in the bathtub sleeping

You could try eBay or your local fleamarket for used copies of both the game and system.

Emulated classic Rare games makes me sick  They are meant to be enjoyed in full screen, with normal N64 controllers, not keyboards :( They should keep us away from the computer, not on it. :(

Then again if your N64 dies and you have no way of playing them.. you get the point fortunately my N64 still runs.

Or you can go fullscreen in a really large computer monitor and use an xbox 360 controller..

Yeah, I might buy one on ebay when I get enough money.
Does it come with software to record gameplay?

No, idea. I still need a hand because I found two or three different ones for the ps2. How do I know which one to get?

I would assume it would work. But I would rather see the cables then the stock photo.

Yeah I know, all I've managed to find so far are stock photos though. I think I'm going to go ahead and get it, I could take some pics when it comes in if you want.

There is something you have to enable in the graphic plugin to get those puzzle games running correctly. Although I can't remember what ATM.

That's the same one I purchased on Amazon. It works incredibly well. And it works for more than what it says. It'll work for ANYTHING that utilizes Audio/Video cables. NES, SNES, N64, PS, PS2, Xbox, Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, Gamecube, Video Cameras, digital cameras, etc.

Could you take a picture of the thingy and the cables for it?
Does it come with its own recording software? Or do you have to use a free one on th einternet that is generally bad quality?

This is awesome. Does it really work that good? I read some amazon reviews that said there was 2-3 second audio lag. But if it works, I can play Halo 3, Mass Effect, stuff like that, all right here on my PC?
wkw427
11th November 2007, 06:16 PM
Well I would assume that the 2-3 second delay is eather your computers ram sucking, or a sync issue when opening the gamebridge program and powering up the concle.
I had a delay ONCE. It was when I booted up the program and my gamecube at the same time. Now, if I just open the program, THEN boot up gamecube, I get no delay. Even when recording.

So you already got yours, huh? Cool. Does it work flawlessly? Sheesh I can't wait to get one of these for myself, from the TeamXBox review, it sounds really good and simple to use.
