what you need to do is use a hex editor. google hex editor and you will find one. im sure there is a guide somewhere on here that tells you how to use it.

There's the RWP Compressor/Decompressor. Though you need to edit the text in a hex editor, then compress it back.

You know how cooliscools program takes the .dat (or .bin I cant remember) files. Reformats them and opens them as models. Is it possible to do that looking for music aswell as all the other types of things?

Music files are stored as .usf, I'm not sure how the usf hackers extract them though...but it would be nice if someone made a way for you to convert the format to an editable music file, and then back to .usf so that you could add your own music to games. It'll probably not happen in the next 1million years.

That would be cool Rune, I think that Winamp has a Usf plugin, so I'll look more into this. I know that yu can only play Usf's, but theres another program I know called Ifranview, I think that's it's name, that supports alot of file formats, and then you can save them as something else, pretty much converting them. I'll try and post links for these and look more into this.

Thanks Whyme, I couldn't remember the name. I knew I used it to play music from Zelda.

EDIT: Ifranview doesn't support Usf's, and you cant rename them with an MP3 extension :(. I'll try and find a USF editor, if there even is one..
