Probably, but you would need a sturdy server.

How? How to everything :p
Would my computer be stable enough to be a good server? :p

There are programs available for game-specific online play but I doubt BT would be considered anywhere near popular enough to be hosted online.
Try Goldeneye.
But what would I do if I wanted to make my pc a server for games????? I want to play online ::(:(:(
Oh, and if it is being played online, does everyone see the same split screen?

theres a Goldeneye and Perfect dark source somewhere on the web, if you have steam or counterstrike installed, you can download it

Even if you did somehow manage to get Banjo-Tooie online, there wouldn't be anyone to play because you're the only one with it online! :|

I loved the shootouts in BT. If you ever got it to work, I'd be up for a few games.

1964 allows for online BT. I'm up for playing anyone in Bottles' Revenge who wants to.
Edit: Or shootouts. Or Tower of Tragedy.

Every time I play BT on 1964 the textures are all rearranged and the water levels are always higher than they should be.
AAAAaaaaand I can't figure out how to get BT online.

I'm having trouble with Project 64k too. When I select Banjo Tooie to play it says, "could not open eeprom".
The zip file contained a pj64 and pj64k. Pj64k won't even play Tooie.
EDIT:
I redownloaded it and now it shows a list of what's compatible. Tooie is under 'not compatible'.

So it can't be played online?
What about 1964?

I'm getting a little frustrated with this. Pj64k does NOT support BT at all. And every time I boot up BT in 1964 it screws up the graphics.

ok first off it depends on what graphics plug in you use and if u cant run it i have no clue why because it says uncompatible for me but it works fine ;]

1964 is a free emulator i think. You can't play BT online through a n64 console.

1964 supports Banjo-Tooie perfectly for me. With online play. I think B-R-E-T might not have a high enough graphics card or something.

Well games like doom and half-life2 work fine on this laptop. I doubt it has anything to do with my card.

Navigate to the N64 emulators page. It should be the first on the list.

I've been playing mupen online for GE. It's spectacular. It should work for BT as well. The info at goldeneyeonline.com should help for BT as well.

Heh. You made it sound like there was a way to play it online. I absoutely dislike hype titles. Oh well. It's you'r thread. You can do what you want. I thought that you can play a Java version of Banjo Tooie, The way the title makes it sound like. (No I don't mean coffee either) That would be sooo sweat a java N64 for a quick play.
They have them for the older games since they are in a SORTA Legalized "Grey Area" but I am not allowed to pass out links here, which is very stupid for OLDER stuff that are next to IMPOSSIBLE to find, and that won't hurt the Company that much due to the expensive 50$+ games now a days.

There is a way to play it online. Some of us just can't figure out how. Subdrag's suggestion seems like the likeliest possibility of getting it to work.
