It doesn't look like anyone has done one of these yet, but, what games do you have? Gamecube, X Box, Ps2, whatever. Here is my list. Rate it or whatever. I think thats how it goes. One person puts his game list and then next person to post rates it.

it would be kinda anal retentive to rate all the games. just rate the collection in total. Oh yeah, if you want, you could do gameboy and N64 and *******, but, writing for the cube was enough as it is.

nice collection. and i thought my gamecube collection was formidable. yours has me beat by like, 9 or so. as for the snes and n64, not a bad collection either. i thought it would take too long to type all that out, and i see that it probably did take you quite awhile to type that out.

Cheater. Just out of sheer curiosity, where's the Nintendo games? I've got quite a few, and don't really care to list them all, but, there is one I am really proud of. Final Fantasy 1. As a matter of fact, thats the game I'm most proud of in my entire collection.

Ohh, let's see...
SMB/Duck Hunt

...and a 42 games-in-one cartridge that some local guy was pirating and selling in the early nineties which contains everything from SMB, Mappy, Excite Bike, Dig Dug, Lode Runner, etc.

Go to any home-improvement store and buy yourself some bookshelves.
Thats what I do and I consider myself pretty organized (Compared to a friend of mine who just shoves them in his dresser).

Could you not just get a few CD towers?
In my oppinion, towers are usually a waste compared to a single bookcase.
OmegaPirate
20th February 2005, 05:42 AM
CD towers can't fit the larger CD cases like my Kowloon's Gate Jap PS1 game is 3 CD cases in size because it is boxed up with a booklet.
And PS2 Dvd cases are too long for a CD tower.
But ok I just saw a catalogue with the book tower things for $50(aud) holds 240 CDs i might get one of them...
Thanks for the Advice people.

Donkey Kong Jungle Beat just came out here. I'd have had it a couple weeks ago but I'm looking for the one that comes with the Bongos as I don't have Donkey Konga. None of the stores around have the Bongos with them and I can't afford both Jungle Beat and Konga.... *cries*

You could always move here to the land of idiocy, in the GAME nearby you could buy Donkey Konga on it's own for £30 (Or was it £40?) or you could buy DOnkey Konga + Bongos for £20. Same with Jungle Beat. (I think)
It's madness.

Who does have the largest here anyway?
Well going by your "incomplete" IGN collection I think you do.
Edit: Reviving old topics is not to be recommended.
However, I liked this thread, I enjoyed reading what games people had bought and it was a handy way to keep my collection up to date. (Yes, I've been editting my first reply every time I bought something new :) )
Also, there are quite a lot of newer users here who haven't posted what they own and I am interested to see what they have.
So, for my most recent purchase: JUMP! Superstars for Nintendo DS, imported since there's no way it'll ever be released outside of Japan. (Licensing nightmare, or so I'm told).

The game is amazing.. The screenplay is original and perfect. The music is perfect as well, besides having just a few minor glitches in Mega Man 7. Also.. something different about it is the fact that you use the A button for Fire, and B to Jump instead of the other way around. Just thought I'd mention that because a lot of people complain about it.. Very easy to get used to though.
It's got Mega Man 1-6 from the original NES, 7th from Super Nintendo, and I think the 8th was released on Playstation. Then it's got two unlockable arcade games and an interview.. and animation gallery.. It's got a lot. It's just awesome.. and for only about 20 bucks, these anniversary collections (even the one for Sonic the Hedgehog) is a freaking steal!
