Which one do you think is the best?

I voted Pocket Eggplant. It would seriously probably be better.
I don't like the DS. I've been there, and tried it. Sure, it has some awesome games for it. Sure, it is an innovative and interesting step into the future of game. But I just don't like it. I don't like the controls, I don't like looking at the multiple screens, it just doesn't suite me personally.
Now the PSP isn't too bad. That is aside from 800,000 technical problems. The battery life - horrible. The disks - pop out randomely. Worst of all one of the buttons easily breaks in a couple of weeks. You would think this is a big problem they would change. But no. The head guy said he didn't even want to change it because he liked the layout as was and it would be impossible, so oh well. Yeah. Oh well.

Haven't you ever played Wario Ware:Touched?

I voted for Both Pocket Eggplant and Nintendo DS.
I enjoy the DS (I just got mine 3 days ago as it only came out 5 days ago here in Australia). I don't like playing GBA games on it (using the top screen at least, I haven't tried the bottom) But that's neither here nor there.
I haven't tried the PSP but I doubt I'll be buying it because from what I've been able to figure out or read somewhere it's like a PS2 only portable with a crappy battery life (and can't play DVD's only some other format which I forget what it's called).
So in conclusion Eggplants are good, Pocket Eggplants add for more portability and my pants are made of tin.

Teh PSP has Teh UMD. (Universal Media Disc)
I MAY get a PSP, thats if 'FF7: Advent Children' doesn't come out on DVD...
I MAY get it also for Metal Gear Acid...
I want a DS for $200
I want to save paper when i draw.
Or play Super Mario DS...
Theres new mini-games
New Characters
New MOVES!
Hmm Paper Mario would do well on NDS...
I picked Both as the more the merrier or one will get something that the other won't have and i'll want it.
Try out the DS here on your PC :P

DS because Nintendo's had many rivals in the handheld market for as long as it's had a system, and yet beat them all. (Bandai's Wonderswan and Sega's Game Gear are two examples) and Pocket Eggplant because could you imagine how many things you could make with a few of them!?

Well i'll be picking up a DS at launch with Daigasso! Band Brothers!!
Although the rumours of Nintendo releasing a new gameboy this year are quite....annoying, try explaining to the public that the DS isn't a gameboy.
I wouldn't mind having a PSP, but it's far too expensive, and will only go up in price when it reaches here.

I have a DS... I'm getting a PSP. There is no competition really. They both have pros and cons.
Honestly though, I'll laugh we we start hearing the PSP fanboys complain about all of the problems with the PSP (technical and non-technical) when it's released.

This (http://www.dkvine.com/interactive/forums/index.php?showtopic=2221) prompted me to vote "Pocket Eggplant."
Although I can't say I ever had an overwhelming desire to get a PSP or a DS in the first place.

There won't be another GBA:SP, that CNN article is just analyst speculation.
(Sort of like this post, except i'm no analyst)

Nope there will be a new GBA this year.
Here's the proof (http://news.gamewinners.com/index.php/news/2528/) from Gamewinners. I really don't know how well analog controls will work though...

Did you even read that link that you posted?
Spong made a huge fuss about the article that CNN had, blew it right out of proportion which caught the attention of Gamewinners.
Nobody at Nintendo has confirmed ANYTHING about the next GB, especially not to Spong who have a reputation of making things up.
(Heck if spong claimed that the Earth rotated around the Sun, the Earth would actually grind to a halt and stop it's orbit)

Pocket Eggplant, man. :D You can't beat it! Except maybe a Pocket Badger.
But really, I haven't used either a PSP or a DS. I'm comfortable with my GBA for now.

After looking at those links, it's really funny is how many of these people are so bent on processing power and disk space. Poor PacMan must be squirming in it's grave.
I'd be far more concerned about a huge wad of rereleases and eventual abandonment than system specs. Heck, if history has taught us anything, the winner is rarely the best equipped. NES was crap compared to SMS, but outcompeted it. TurboGraphics16, Jaguar, 3D0, NeoGeo + pocket...gone. Heck, the SNES was more underpowered than the Genesis in most fields. Then there's Gameboy.. the big clunky grey box of doom whalloped all it's colorized competition, and didn't even get color until N64 era. -and N64 was a flop, even though it's specs are in most fields better than PS1.
Heck. I *will* buy a DS if it has just one decent puzzle game that is not Tetris or from Yahoo games. With those two screens, could do some interesting screen-screen interactions.
However, really don't think the stylus works for 1st person games. I don't care if they sell right now. RPGS, puzzles, and more diverse generas would utilize a stylus and double screens far better. Although I don't really like Warioware, it does use that stuff fairly well. And yes, they really really need a paper mario game on it.
actually, if it could upload retro games onto a "save cart" in a manner like the ique, that would kick butt.

Nintendo DS... though I had a hard time choosing between the Pocket Eggplant. It's just too good!

Actually.. there is one. An excellent one. Mr. Driller: Drill Spirits.

It's not meant to be vastly different from the GBA version though, so I hear.
For puzzle games I would highly recommend Polarium, or even to import Meteos.

I've changed my mind: The DS is probably the best choice, beating out Pocket Eggplant by a hair if only for the fact that you can now play it on a larger screen:

moving on, now what the heck is a pocket eggplant!?!? sounds very Dr. Robotnicy. Are they coming out with another verson of the game boy advance? To hell with that, I just bought a freakin DS! They've even got GBA games planned for release till the end of the year! They should just do what they did to the GBC and GB games, stop making them and move on. No wonder DS doesn't have many games, people are still making GBA games, even most of the new DS games have GBA graphics almost! Whats up with that?
