Hi. I'm new here. Well not really new, because I was here waaaaay back when. I loved this site and when it suddenly went down I was hoping it was temporary. Then I kept checking each day, then each week, then each month, and then sadly I gave up and thought this great site was forever dead. Then for some odd reason today I decided to try the URL and much to my surprise it actually worked. And what else I find weird is that it came back only a week ago. I haven't missed anything then which I am glad for. Isn't that just really odd though that the site comes back and I decide to try the URL at the same time? Maybe it has a strange calling to all of us... :p

Okay! Anyway onto the main point of my thread:
As you hopefully have seen on our main page, the Rare Witch Project is returning! We'll have the main site up pretty soon for our relaunch, with some new and exciting content that as usual will blow your mind and make you go bananas. Not going to spoil everything we have, but it's great stuff, including the "new find in Banjo Land" and a completely redesigned main site. For the moment, however, enjoy our forums and try to get back into the swing of things.

That is his announcement message. I'm sure everyone has noticed the two words in italics. Now while it could be just emphasis on words, I also believe he is trying to tell us something. A little preview of.

The first thing that game to mind:
bananas + swing = donkey kong

Lol don't ask why because it doesn't have much connection with Banjo that I know of. Maybe it's that DK64/BK swap thing. What's your take on this?

I think it's possible.

sadly i am cynical about the whole swap thing. DK and BK use totally different systems and tech so I think this is completely impossible.

Wow you guys replied quick.

Okay, so what other ideas do you have for the "bananas-swing" thing?

Donkey Kong = Advent Level!

You all have no brains if you can't figure that out. They must've found some kinda thingy related to Fungus Forest.

I posted this exact topic in anything goes about 9 hours ago but I got rid of it cause i thought no-one would answer and may think it a waste of time.

I hope it's the idea of Fungus Forest

hmmm maybe this has something to do with the stop and swap sound thingy and the donkey kong sound thingy which sound the same

I have the same views as LBE, I really do doubt there's anything that could possibly be connected between the two games. And two games having the same sound effects doesn't really mean too much, it's just that Rareware enjoys recycling.

I think there's a few other words we should be concentrating on...

"new find in Banjo Land"

i wonder what that could be. i remember on the BT gamefaqs board "Ice Mario" posted that he found the menu to connect with BK in BT, but once tested the game froze or something to of that sort. although, it's not really clear if that's an imposter of Ice Mario, or actually the admin Ice Mario, but if this's true, the it'll be interesting to see if anything developes from this.

I find this all very interesting and I can't wait to see if what they found from accessing the Debug Menu in BT.

BTW: That was an imposter and did you notice it was posted on April 1st? :)
