Graphical Tutorial?

I suck at web graphics, as you all may know, and I was wondering if there was a tutorial somewhere that helped you make them. I would like to design some nice graphics (Probably not quite as good as e0e's ;)) but I just can't go about doing it by myself.

I've searched, but most of the tutorials I've found are actually previews for books you have to buy...X_X.

Well I don't have a tutorial BUT I can tell you what I do if that'll help (it should at least get you started). But first I'd need to know what Program do you have for Images?

BTW 100 posts to me :D. I remember on the first forums it took me like 3 months to get this far hehe
