Sorry about that the article was moved. I'll try and find it but the Xbox 2 was going to be shown on MTV some time in May from memory.

Yeah, and shortly after Microsoft announced they'd be unveiling their next system, Sony announced that they'll be unveiling theirs on the same day, three hours earlier. I'd say Sony has self-esteem issues -- as if seeing the PS3 earlier is going to make people want it more or less.

I don't think it's such a bad idea for sony (in terms of marketing and stuff), If it was just the next XBox and nothing else for the next week until E3 then Microsoft would have had that whole week of advertising and focus and the other companies would be ignored until E3.

Although it's possible for Microsoft and Sony to help Nintendo. People will see 2 of the 3 next gen consoles and will start to wonder about Nintendo and may cause more interest in the Revolution.

Still it should be interesting to see the new systems.... Revolution we have to wait until E3, one week later :(

The most likely scenario is people will see the PS3 and Xbox 2 and forget Nintendo exist.
