Micro$oft does it again. Go to the Conker Page and you can order a FREE  Conker Trial Demo Disk.
Conker Demo (http://www.xbox.com/en-us/conker/default.htm?level1=enushome&level2=upcominggames5&level3=conker)
Click all the links, enter all your info, and there you have it. No wait, what's this? I have to pay $5.00 shipping and need a credit card. Hmmm, I don't remember seeing anything about a shipping charge on the prior pages.
Let me check.
Nope, not a word about a shipping fee and needing a credit card. Unless I'm blind.
Oh well. They can keep their Demo. It's not even about the $5.00. Just be upfront about it so people don't waste their time.

I wouldn't mind the $5.00 shipping if the only method of payment wasn't a credit card. These online stores have to realize that not everyone has that tiny plastic portal to lifetime debt.
I don't know why they can't just accept PayPal. I have a PayPal account, and can easily and safely pay them -- so why not? Filthy buggers.
Anyway, I wonder if EB would have the demo?

If it's five dollars then why not just buy the Official Xbox Magazine Issure with the Conker demo? You get the demo (I'm assuming it's the same) and a magazine to boot. Just my two cents.

Unless a new Conker demo is coming out with OXM, that was in December -- and I've played it ;)
It wasn't too bad... the War chapter isn't my favorite, so I didn't give it much time, but it's still definitely impressive.

Well you can actually easily back order issues with the demo disc.

Actually, I've just discovered today that this month's issue of OXM has the same Conker demo on it as the December issue. I picked it up today thinking, by some slim chance, it would be a new demo, but it was the same. Still had fun playing it though ;)
The game will be out next month anyway -- it'll be here before we even realize it. Unless some of you are as desperate as I was before Banjo-Tooie came out, and thought about it every day. Then it'll take forever, in which case, my thoughts are with you all.

The game comes out in June, not next month. If you're looking for the demo, then buy it off ebay like I did. Then you'll see that it is way better than CBFD.

SHEESH... just because of the refreshed graphics the game is that much better?
remember that the one player mode from Live and Reloaded is still the same one player mode from Bad Fur Day... just with better looking graphics...
What I want to mean: People are thinking of this game like it is a sequel of bad fur day, but it isn't, the so-called Chapter X is just the Total War multiplayer mode with some objectives, that's all...
The new Conker game is just another on-line "kill'em up", I don't see anything interesting in it... and this kind of on-line game usually gets old pretty fast.

Posting in an old topic, but I thought I'd clear something up.
The Conker demo can be obtained from local retailers liek EB games, Game Crazy (USA only for Game Crazy) and GameStop. Just preorder Live and Reloaded and you get it for free.
On the disk is a movie called "Conker: Where is He Now?" featuring great actors suchs as Ryan Stiles (last name spelled wrong) and a well known rap and football player... whose names I can't remember XP.
Two other game demos, plus the Its War chapter demo. Also it shows you two multiplayer maps... BUT YOU CAN NOT PLAY THEM! Buggers XP.
Also featured, possible the best part, are SEVERAL of the in-game cutscenes along with music from the game that can be downloaded onto your XBOX harddrive (plus they also annouce a new CD from RARE with many of our favorite tunes? Hm). Oh, and the game trailer
All in all, its got everything the orignal demo had... only now with more GUI and some extra content. Worth a five dollar down payment methinks.
