I've had GTA IV for roughly 12 hours

I haven't moved the system, let alone moved the system with the game still inside. I've taken breaks, my 360 is on its side, and overall I haven't done anything to warrant this crap, but already it has 3 scratches, a wavy line on the disk that seems lighter on the left side than the right, and it's freezing/I'm getting disk errors. Should I email M$ about it? Take the game back to the store? What? I'm getting tired of this peice of crap scratching my games. Oblivion was so bad I had to get the disk replaced. It's scratching my games and I'm not doing anything to cause it. Do I need a new 360 or something? That'll be a nice conversation peice. "Yeah, I'm on my third 360. Great system, hasn't given me any problems in weeks".

my pc scratches my disks, i have made copies of some for fear they will just stop working...
(i have 2 pc's, not sure if the one im on now does it, but the other defiantly did)

the scratches were all in a ring about half way from the center... i dont know why it does it, but it does...

Oh man... I would go totally bat**** insane if that happened to me. I've been waiting for BK3 for 7 years or so. There's no way in hell I'm not playing until my eyes bulge out of my skull.

I'm not moving it vertically on a carpet, it's what killed my 360. I'm sure you all know the story by now :). GTA IV has been working fine for me today. No problems so far.
