No official, post-update Bungie article yet. The only article we have concerning this is yesterday's heads-up (http://www.bungie.net/News/TopStory.aspx?story=stathopperupdate&p=3243913).
Roughly half an hour ago, Bungie reset every player's stats/rank, half-buttedly reset the leaderboards, updated the existing matchmaking playlists, and added two new playlists to matchmaking: Double Team and Team Preview. As some of you might know by now, Double Team is a 2 vs. 2 playlist, and Team Preview centers around the premium downloadable maps. There have been several other changes, as well; most of them are detailed in the first link in this post.
A quick glance at the playlists (http://www.bungie.net/Stats/page.aspx?section=FAQInfo&subsection=playlists&page=1) page will yield even more detailed info, including the fact that Bungie has (apparently) removed 1 Flag CTF Fast on Burial Mounds from the Team Skirmish playlist. Hallelujah!
I can't wait to do some "in-depth testing" of the new playlists. ;)
