Well, you can easilly find "Dolphin V.1.02" over the net (just search in google)
I' think this is the best emulator, but you'll have to download the roms (2 or 3 gigs heach probably). Of course the emulator is far from perfect, but with a good graphics card (mm ati 9200 or better) it should work more or less ok (considering you are attempting to use a rom wich is proved it works)
I'd tell you a link, but the one I know is spanish, so I don't think it will be useful to you XD
p.d: go and buy a game cube!

A Gamecube Emulator? That would something to see, I've known about the whole streaming-GCN games "trick" using the BB adapter but was unaware any ROM's actually existed.

mm the page of the emulator:
http://www.dolphin-emu.com/
and a page of roms and stuff (not so many, but they are proved to work):
(you'll probably have to register -I'm member and have the "remember me" option, so I can't tell-)
*Uh Oh... PM this removed link or something*
luck

You're not allowed to post links to ROMs.

He originally did post a link to the ROMs but Grey edited it.

ROMs and emulators are legal in the United States if you either own the game and the system or if you delete within 24 hours of download.

There was some law that was changed around 2003 I believe that changed that, or affected it in some way... or that is what I thought anyway. I remember there being a big fiasco about it and exactly what it involved. The law originally said "You can have backups" and now it says "You can have backups you made yourself" or something. I don't remember the specifics, but Icy Guy brought it to my attention. He rips his own GBA games so he can legally have them, or something. I don't know we need a comment from him it has been too long since I read the new agreement.

I believe it is a grey area, so we generally err on the side of caution, and don't allow posting ROMs or links, though perhaps discussion is allowed.

I personally maintain that ROMs are illegal in most ways, shapes and forms, save for what Grey said in that if they're made by yourself, for yourself, then, most likely, nobody will care.
Then again, as with most software piracy, the legality of it isn't really enforced as much as, say, RIAA and music-sharing.
I'm not saying I care if anyone has ROMs or not, otherwise I'd be a huge hypocrite. But that's just where I stand on the issue -- and concerning discussing it in public, posting links... I'd rather not, except for emulation which I believe is 100% legal.
We could discuss this all day, and we'd never agree. :)

i started it and loaded the game, then a little Window appeared "Booting...."

Why don't you just buy a GCN? Much MUCH less hassle.

With a keyboard?
Nice....

As was already mentioned, current Gamecube emulators are still far from perfection. And even if they were, your PC would just not be powerful enough to run games at a decent framerate. So just forget about it.
If you want fluent gameplay at 60 frames per second - go ahead and buy a Cube. Playing original games in front of a large TV screen is a lot more fun anyway.

-.- yes with a keyboard!
and why wouldn't my pc powerful enough??
how powerful must it be to play games??

For PC games? Check the technical spes on the back of the game box.
For a GCN emulator? Who knows, I don't think it's even possible to run a GCN emulator at the moment.

acording to the dolphin readme:
"The System Requirements
================================================== =========
GFX: Radeon 9500+ series card recommended, but Geforce FX
series also work. Expect severe graphics problems
with lower cards.
CPU: The fastest you can find.
RAM: 256MB or higher strongly recommended.
Audio: Any Windows/DirectX-compatible soundcard.
The Gamecube Information
================================================== =========
The main processor of the Gamecube is a PowerPC derivative
running at 485MHz with some additional SIMD instructions.
It is extremely time consuming to emulate and is the main
bottleneck of Dolphin.
The Gamecube "Art-X" graphics chip is probably the most
complex ever seen in a console, except maybe the NV20+ in
the XBox. Unlike the NV20 the Art-X is very different from
PC hardware, so it requires a lot of computer power to
emulate, and it may not be possible to support all features.
It can do some very weird stuff like having two alpha
compare operations that can in turn be xored, anded or
whatever, and has performance counters that are impossible
to emulate properly that may be used/abused for purposes
like occlusion culling, as has been seen already (the
weird boxes in Mario Sunshine). Coverage queries may
possibly be used on hardware that supports them to fake
this feature reasonably.
Also its texturing abilities are extremely advanced, right
up there with the XBox and in some areas even more
feature rich.
That is why Radeon 9500+ / Geforce FX is the minimum
specification for running Dolphin properly.
The Gamecube has 24 megs of fast RAM and 16 megs of slower
"ARAM", primarily used for audio but can also be used as a
temporary scratch space.
The Gamecube has a custom DSP for audio with an unknown
instruction set. It will be possible to HLE sound in many
games, those that use the AX library, but we are not sure
about the others yet. A simple type of streaming music
(used by a few games) has already been somewhat emulated"
