Dunno if "N-Rev" is the official nickname, if Revolution is even going to be the final name at all, but it seems what all the "cool kids" are saying.

I think it's the best looking of the three consoles this generation. The 360 shouldn't be white, the PlayStation 3 looks like a radiator, with a boomerang for a controller -- the Revolution (the only Black console) looks nice and slick. Puts the GameCube's "kiddy" look to shame at least, which is a start.

Also revealed is the newest of the GBA series, the Game Boy Micro (http://image.com.com/gamespot/images/2005/news/05/17/revo_screen004.jpg), which is purely (read: awesomely) insane. :)

Hahahahahah...yeah.

There's a Revolution picture floating around showing off the Gamecube controller ports and memory cards slots aswell, i'll post it if I can find it again.

I do believe that the official name is the RevOlution. (The Big O for DVD discs and the smaller one is for Gamecube discs. Clever, eh?) Download play and the probable 200 dollar price tag just might make this the system to get.

Blech, it never fails. I was so careful trying to avoid that while pasting the links... ehh well. I fixed it :)

As much as it looks like "Revolution" is going to stick, we still have a year to go until launch. Though the final design of the unit is more likely to change (remember the E3 Nintendo DS compared to the final design?) rather than the name -- especially since they have somewhat of a logo, as thoroughly pointed out by Andre.

I haven't been this excited since waiting for Banjo-Tooie to come out :p
