View Full Version : Wrong Fast Food Order! A question that perplexes me..

Today, I went to Wendys for dinner. Wendys is a fast food place, much like McDonalds.
I get a #2 no cheese onion or mayo. That is a double burger.
When I get it, lo and behold, it has cheese. So like the happy citizen I am, I take it back. I tell the lady what I ordered, and I receive a new burger!
Ah, but here is the catch.
She didn't take back the wrong one! Now, I was left with two burgers.
What should I of done? Thrown the other one out? Normally they take the bad ones and junk them. But, I ate it. It had cheese, something which prevented me from finishing it.
What would you of done?

Ate them both, because doing anything else would be mind-bogglingly retarded. Srsly, why throw away free food?

I would throw it away.

I would just tell the Subway host to remove the banana peppers.
...
Now whenever I'm forced to down fast food because it's the only thing open at 2 am (Besides Denny's, which btw would lead to another "I just took..." thread), if they mess up the order I just tend to ignore it and eat it at home. This is usually a)Because I am half way down the road already and b)They pretty much always add something more to my order.

I would say it was wrong again so I could have three!

The burger was made to be eaten, it would be harsh from you to throw the burger away; how would you feel if you were the burger and you were not eaten, but thrown away instead? And also: you aren't throwing it because you can't eat anymore, you'd be throwing it because it has cheese and you prefer another burger over that one, that's discrimination to the burger with cheese. So this would create and endless cycle of throwing burgers away until a "perfect" burger arrives; 100 burgers could be made and only 1 would be eaten by you, thus, 99 other burgers would end in the trashcan, with their small cheesey hearts broken.

I would make my mom eat it.

I would throw it behind the counter, demand a new one, upon receiving that one, say it tastes like ****, throw that behind the counter as well, and declare I've going to Taco Bell, which is where you should have been to begin with.

Normally they would have taken the first one back, so I would probably offer it to a family member, I suppose. :p

See everyone? This is good handling of the situation.
If you don't want the burger, FINE. But do what daniel would do and offer it to someone else, you don't have to be so mean to the poor burger that did nothing wrong to begin with.
@yami: I'm disappointed at you

This. Seems like the common sense answer to me. :p

Unless you're lactose (Did I spell it right?) intolerant, just eat it. Or, another sensible solution would be to give it to someone else.

...take the cheese off the burger myself.Melted cheese? Feel like reconstructing a burger. scraping it off, and 80% of it still stuck to the patty?

I just don't like cheese on burgers

Yeah its extremely intelligent to eat 1200-1600 (not including fries or drink which could bring it to 1600-2000) calories in one meal!
You are a true genius sir!

How many calories are in the burgers you eat?

Very good strategy.
What the heck were you at Wendy's for?
Also, I would've just gave it to one of my family members, because I can't eat more than one a day without throwing up, :S

First, I wouldn't eat at Wendy's. But if my order got messed up, and I got another burger, I'd just be less picky, and eat the free burger.

I wouldn't eat it because I hate burgers. :P
But when I do get fast food, rarely, they always tend to forget to give us straws.

I would pick off the cheese and other bad ingredients, then eat it. If not, I would give it to somebody at home. Seems like an awful waste to throw away an otherwise perfectly good cheeseburger!

They actually don't have ice cream... They have Frosties! ;) You've never been to Wendy's I presume. It's only one of the best fast food places! o-O

There's no way I would eat two double burgers.

No. But that just gave me a good reason why to go to Wendy's. They've got some great frosties.

Wendy's is only good when they have jalapeno burgers. Actually, now that I think about it, I hate pretty much every fast food joint in existence (other than Hardee's) but I eat fast food at least twice a week.
But yeah I'd just eat it
