I recently saw Family Guy Blue Harvest. and I almost **** my pants laughing!
I read on wikipedia that their gonna do the whole trilogy! the next one is the empire strikes back (my personal favorite). From what I read they pretty much got the perfect characters for their respective roles.I know the giant chicken is Boba Fett(can you say peter vs. chicken fight!:D), and Ollie Williams is Lando Calrisian. I dont know who the emporor is going to be, but I can almost gauronte that it's going to be the evil monky in chris' closet, because that would be perfect. all I know is I'm definatly getting the entire trilogy when they hit dvd. disscuss.

I really liked the show at one point. I'll still watch it from time to time, but I'm not as die-hard as I used to be. I remember when Blue Harvest came on TV the first time. I didn't think it was that funny. I had watched the Star Wars films before, but I'm not what you'd call a "fan" of it, so much as I wanted to see what the big deal was... Suffice it to say, they were good, but I didn't really see what was so special about them.

So when I went into Blue Harvest, I figured it was a general parody on the Star Wars films, sort of like Spaceballs (which meant you didn't have to see the damn films to get the jokes). Turns out, the show is littered with references that would be funny if you'd seen the films 20 times each and caught every detail and committed it to memory. Not to mention, even the name "Blue Harvest" is a reference in itself. Apparently that's what the original script was called... or something? I really can't be arsed to even care.

The ep was hit or miss with me, and then I see my best friend actually buy the DVD. I wondered what was the big mystery for why she felt it was worth buying. I can understand buying a whole season of episodes, but ONE episode that was subpar at best? I just don't get it.

I think it USED to be funny, back when stewie was maniacal, when meg wasn't treated like **** as much, when peter was a FAMILY GUY;)....You know, when his family was important to him, and he was just trying to do whats right, being goofy and kind of doofy in the meanwhile.o-O

Now....Meg is treated like ass(a gay guys), stewie acts all 'GAY, ive seen him in numerous accounts saying really gay things, And peter is just downright retarded, and whiny, and a dick head that doesn't deserve lois.

Seriously though, lois is hot!:D

Anyway, i really liked the first few seasons, but its sucked really bad latley.
Either they need to make some changes, or STOP making new episodes before i even forget that they used to be good.:-/
