I especially enjoy FLCL and Lupin.

Not really. I've seen a few minutes of SeaLab before, but that's about as close as it comes to actually watching it. Though I have watched Trigun elsewhere before it came on Adult Swim....

Unfortunately, I've never gotten too much of a chance to watch Adult Swim. I'd like to skim around on the episode listings and see a few things on there, but I never get the chance.
However, most of the anime that I've been starving to watch has been downloaded onto my computer already. Even if there's something that's on Adult Swim that I've been wanting to see, chances are likely that I've already managed to watch the show in another way. I even got all twenty six episodes of Trigun a little while ago, in subbed format, since I can never manage to actually watch the TV at the time. Since I'm in this topic, does anybody mind telling me what channel Trigun appears on, and at what time? I want to see a few dubbed episodes, if I find the chance.
I need more fraydawm.

I want to say that it comes on Cartoon Network at like 2AM on Monday morning. I don't have proof of that, as I've never actually caught an episode of it on CN, but thats mainly because I had already seen the subbed version on DVD. But yeah, I'm pretty positive it is on Cartoon Network though.

I really don't care for most of the shows on Adult Swim. However, I do enjoy watching Futurama and Family Guy. I was at my friend's house once; he watches "yu yu hackashu". (Or however it's spelled) [biased opinion] It's just another crappy anime show that only anime nerds watch.
[/biased opinion]
Oh, well.

Oh, well.
Why is it no one actually watched Family Guy back when it was still on Fox. It was funny then....
As for thinking Anime is nerdy, tell that to about 20 of the girls I know, and I'm sure they would probably tear your arms off or something. And don't diss anime, its quite cool. Though that might just be because I'm half japanese. ;)

I love Family Guy.... and regular animated shows like it. I can't stand Anime. I think it's horrible. But don't mind me ;)

Dragonball Z I can understand being liked (at least for the most part) being that I used to watch it. But GT is just really bad, what's GOOD about it?

Im not a big fan of the Dragon Ball series. GT i heard wasn't that good. Did you hear theres going to be a DBZ live action movie?

I have a small liking for the Dragon Ball series. I enjoy many episodes of Dragon Ball on occasion, whereas I found quite a few episodes of Dragon Ball Z to be repitive. Dragon Ball GT never appealed to me at all, though.
My favorite anime/manga would probably be Trigun(Anime) and One Piece(Manga) I'm not too much of a big fan, but I do watch and read on occasion.

I used to watch Adult Swim, but I got tired of waiting for new eps so I started downloading new episodes plus shows that aren't on Adult Swim.

I like cartoons like Simpsons and Futurama, but anime hasn't been a big thing I've been interested in.
My cousin watches Adult Swim a lot though.

I usually watch adult swim on Sunday if Im not to busy. I think they should put South park on adult swim, but Commedy central probably wouldnt let them.

whatever makes me more attractive ;)
the adult swim shows I LOVE are:
Family Guy
Futurama
the Oblongs
Space Ghost:coast to coast
(I would've put "the brak show" down, but the animation sucks too much).
I used to watch Cowboy Bebob, mainly for ed.:D
but now it's back to good ol' american cartoons.
I wish they didn't have that stupid text and just let us see the damn show. but it might mean more commercials....

I'm someone that ONLY watches Adult Swim.
I love all the shows except Coast-to-coast. If I have to pick a favorite it would probably be Inuyasha (new eps in a few weeks) closely followed by Bebop and then Trigun. Family Guy gets it's own category....
I know all. currently the weekday schedule is
Family Guy! (familee)
Futurama (Futuree)
FLCL (freakee)
Blue Gender (bugee)
Trigun (gunee)
Cowboy Bebop (bountee)
Yes I'm mad...:p

I watch Adult Swim as much as I can. Blue Gender is my favorite show right now, but Cowboy Bebop, Inu Yasha, Trigun, and Yu Yu still have a place on the top.
FLCL is really hyper! Not really my type of anime, but it's always fun to watch. Lupin III is alright, I watch it occasionally, but I don't think it's as great as some of the other titles on AS. I'm not a huge fan of Big O either. Actually I never watch it...
Reign and Pilot Candidate bombed. I can't stand to watch those shows... I have no idea why CN decided to air shows like that. Reign is a mockery to the Greeks, and well Pilot Candidate, well had a really bad story especially considering how the series ended after only 13 episodes!
As for the Comedy segment of Adult Swim, I only watch Family Guy and Futurama. Those are some excellent works that will definately make you laugh if you haven't watched them yet! :D

Reign is an embarrassment to anime everywhere. Seriously, who came up with that?

Yes I sure did. For those who don't know it'll be coming out 2004.
More information can be found here as well as a poster (It's a forum but it has all the info there):

I watch Adult swim from time to time. Favorites that have been or are on it:
Trigun - Anyone who likes anime has got to like this. 'Nuff said.
Yu Yu Hakosho - Well... with me having that avatar and all, it would seem obvious.
Family Guy - Uhuh...
Futurama - Yeah... same as Family Guy.
About that DBZ movie... I think it has a chance at being good. Though it wouldn't take much for a screw up.... really... it wouldn't. Though I hate to say that since I am a DBZ fan and hope for the best when concerning this movie, I still dunno how they are really going to pull this off without screwing up some major parts of the storyline...:(
BTW, cool info there GM2K. Though I wouldn't trust the guy 100%. Seriously, he got this info from a 'friend'? Pah...! Sounds a bit fishy to me...

In Japan, I believe a very large portion of their shows end after only 13 episodes, as they only broadcast a very short season for it. There are plenty of shows that break the 13/26 episode rules, such as the entire gundam series, Inu Yasha, Kenshin/Samurai X, Dragonball (Z/GT), and countless others, but a lot only last 13 to 26 episodes. I don't know why, it sort of kills franchises that way. :p
Anyways, in reguards to the DBZ movie, I ask you this: WHY DO THE FREAKIN SAYAN SAGA INVOLVING RADITZ AND THE ATTACK OF VEGETA. Out of all of the sagas as I recall, that was the second most yawn inducing of them all. I guess maybe because it was the shortest (beside Garlic or whatever that miniseries was.)...Still, I probably won't waste my time and see it, as I really don't know how it will turn out.

I loved dragonball Z up to the end of the Freeza saga. Liked the Cell saga but the Buu saga made Reign look good. <(-_-)>

Well, I don't have a problem with short series. In fact, I liked FLCL and it was only 6 episodes long! It's just that Pilot Candidate's story was like suddenly ended. There was no character development, and little plot to go on in the series. Episode 13 was when things began to pick up... and then THE END! I think the whole story could have been handled differently.

O_o...they are leaving it unedited? Finally, CN is doing something intelligent for once. Now if only I could get them to leave Kenshin unedited...but then again, I guess watching a guy get chopped in half does warrant some editing....;)

AYE!! I LOVE Adult Swim!! Well, just the anime, anyways... I still say that Yu Yu Hakusho was a bit better on AS. Oh well... it works. Trigun, Inu-Yasha, Cowboy Bebop... great. I seriously doubt that IY on AS will get up to around eppy 100... but I hope it does. That's about when the Shichinin Tai shows up!!! They're awesome... Bankotsu!!! YESH!!!
There's also a lot of other anime that I'd love to see on AS... Ranma ½, Slayers, Naruto, Fushigi Yuugi...

I've revived week old topics on slow forums where you can set the veiw to 50 topics per page, so yeah. But 2 years old is just insane.

Reviewing this ancient topic, it looks as though I've already given my two cents. But even today, Adult Swim is the program segment I watch the most on TV... There's really nothing worth watching besides AS except maybe Comedy Central. But, hmmm... oh well. I'm sure a mod might be coming soon.

What I don't get is why it takes one person to revive an ancient topic, and a million others to jump on him for it. Either way, nobody's contributing. I honestly don't know what's worse -- seeing someone bump and old topic, or reading all subsequent posters going "OMG THIS IS OLD UR STUPD HOW DARE U!!".

My opinion is skewed on this subject. I mean, better he replied to this topic instead of making a new topic for the same thing, right? Hmm. I don't know, you locked it. Any complaints see Gold :p.
