From what i've heard it shows Shadow's life before he was placed in sleep by the G.U.N forces. You can shape if he's good or evil. At least's that's what i've heard anyway...

I've seen a video of this game showing Shadow working with Sonic to save the humans; so that means its after when he was put into sleep by G.U.N. What I've read in Nintendo Power says that this is the Shadow from Sonic Heroes, trying to find out whether he's the real Shadow, or a robot clone created by Robotnik (because, if you remember, is Sonic Heroes we never found out if this was the real Shadow). You can shape whether he's good or evil, like R said. But yeah, someone move this please.

Sonic heroes and sonic battle arent sequals to SA2, it would be called SA3, there isnt any adventure at all in Sonic Heroes, the only similarities are that in sonic battle, you could walk around. Sonic team announce a while back that it wasn't the next sonic adventire anyway! :mad:

Sonic adventure (DX)---->great jump to the 3d world! awesome!
Sonic adventure 2(battle)---->man, I LOVE this game, the first game for my cube, the most played and enjoyed, simply perfect (despite some camera problems and so)
Sonic heroes--->what?? teams?? duh...well, still a sonic game...
Shadow the hedgehog----->eh??? a shadow game, well, at least it's not a big the cat game...eh...the same graphics as the old 2001 SAdv2 ?? oh! but he has some guns! ooooooooh! chaos control! bang bang! that has to be great!nah, not really, just shit.(I think sega-amercia made it, the same guys from sonic spinball,so there ya go, a bad game XDD)

BTW, what I was trying to mean is that sonic is a platform-adventure-velocity game, not a pinball, card, party, beat 'em up game >< (sonic shuffle, sonic spinball, sonic battle, shadow the hedghedog...)
I'm not saying that games are bad, my opinion is that they are bad, but only bad for me ><U
of course i played them, but there's no point in comparising Sadv2 with sonic shuffle for example, and just beacuse it features sonic, doesn't make SShuffle a good game f. ex.

(just like mario golf and so, great games, but I still prefer the "normal" ones-but I love mario kart anyway-)
(and making a SAdv2 graphics style game, with a Shadow from sonic heroes model but with guns and even a bazooka added...just because people woul'd think weapons are cool....mah forget about it)

Sonic Spinball is really fun...but so are the origanal sonic games...those were the best. Or some of the ones made around 2000...

One thing I feel needs to be returned is Knuckles and Tails's Super transformations. As of late it's just been the hedgehogs who've gotten that honor. Also seeing some of the others in super form might be cool as well.

And Tails didn't have a hyper form, you needed the Super Emeralds just to transform him into his SUPER form, whereas Sonic and Knuckles got a Hyper form when they had the Super emeralds. So once again Talis got the short end of the stick.:/

also, I saw a japanese SA1 beta commercial with 15 emeralds instead of 8, so originally they did plan for hyper charecters in it.

as for the shadow game, sega has finally gone off the deep end. what with that stupid educational law, making sonic heroes crap, sega had to get past it. but how? how else? make a 'T' rated game. this is gonna be awesome, though it may disappoint some sonic fans, all two of them! [/copiedoffadultswim]. lol j/k. I'm not really that sure if this is going to be my type of sonic game though.

and also, sonic team of america no longer exists. it's just sega now. that happened some time last year.

What educational law? :confused: And Mean Bean wasn't that bad, its a great puzzler, just not a true Sonic game. Probably because it was converted to Sonic from a Japanese puzzler because Americans wouldn't be interested in the characters in the Japanese one. Its just like Tetris Attack in America, also changed to accomadate American audiences.

Well, this game is extremely questionable in my opinion, due to the Heroes mess up. For those who don't know what happened, Shadow supossedly died at the end of SA2: Battle but then returned in Sonic Heroes. Many people didn't like this. I will play the game though and see how it is even if Shadow has a gun or not. For more info on this game, go here:

Spinball was fun. (But the Game Gear version...eh) Sega of America was also the ones who were going to make Sonic Xtreme for the Saturn, but Sega of Japan "shot" that idea off. (Get it?, errr, probably doesn't make sense...) I saw a video of this game with Shadow killing things, blah, blah, blah. At the end of it though, it had Sonic all beat up standing under Shadow, but then after that part Sega made it look like Shadow was then going out to help Sonic (Maybe there are 2 Shadows?!). (Shadow sees Sonic hurt, runs off to him, video ends.) Video seen on Gamecube cafe/IGN. I'll probably get this game due to it has guns, and you can pick up stuff to kill things too. (Violent world we have now, eh?)

about a year-and-a-half ago, someone passed some crappy educational law that stated "every game or show with a genral audiances rating must be educational". the bastards, video-games build up hand-eye-cordinations, thats all the education we need. apparently though, they wouldn't let this through and SH had all this 'teamwork' crap, so in this next game they knocked it up a notch to bypass this law.

Yeah, it's called the Sonic Gems Collection and it'll include Sonic games that weren't on the Mega Collection like Sonic CD (finally!), Sonic the Fighters, and Sonic R. It's coming out exclusively on the GameCube in the US but it'll also come out for the PS2 in Europe and Japan. It's supposed to come out in the US in August and I can't wait! There's also going to be some non-Sonic games in it (Streets of Rage 1-3 are included) and some Game Gear games that were already in Sonic Adventure DX. Kinda pointless for the Game Gear games, but I guess Sega had to fill the disc space somehow.
