Halo 1 & 2

does anyone play Halo at all? or am i the only one. I have beaten both games on normal but can't seem to really beat them on legendary or heroic. Has anyone else ever beat Halo 1 or 2 on heroic or legendary? if you have,please advise me with a couple of tips soI can.

Yeah, there's a large contingency of Halo (particularly Halo 2 with X-Box Live support) players here. I also play, but usually just play large multiplayer LAN games, so I can't say I know much about the single player mode...(This is probably a good thing, as when it comes to FPSs, I usually do nothing but camp and snipe. Unless we're playing midship with swords/stickies only or rocketball on zanzibar...)

Some Halo 2 Legendary advice is to take cover a lot, let your shields regenerate, use guerrila tatics often, and try to take out many enemies at once with grenades.

I don't have an X-box, but I play Halo 2 multiplayer at my friend's house. And that's about all the Halo I've ever played. However... I'm in this Jazz Band class of about twenty members at school, and the seniors (half the band)had all ready graduated and left the school a week ago, leaving us with so few members of the band left it was pointless to play any music. To entertain the ten of us that were left, one guy brought in two X-boxes with Halo 2, and we took two school TVs into the room, hooked the X-boxes together, and had a massive eight-player Halo 2-fest. Even the band director joined in and kicked a couple butts! :D

Didn't like it.

Apparently the Xbox version is better but...I'm not sure, I didn't like the PC version at all.

i really want Xbox live...i have never played it, but heard it was fun. I have a 2 month free subsciption thing though. my dad doesnt like that fact that you have to pay 4 bucks a month. Although i am low on cash...i wish i had a job :(...*sniff* *sniff*

Are you sure? The credit card statement always says $5.99 every month, which would mean it's $71.88 per year. Of course, if you're going to get Xbox Live for Halo 2, might as well add the new maps on (about $11.99).

Also, plasma grenades are your friend. ;)

I have Halo but I don't play it much. I don't want to buy 2 until I beat 1. The reason I stopped playing it was because I forget to save after making it far in the Library level.
