Come one, come all, to the RWP Halo brawl!

Well, Andre and I were able to (fairly quickly) come up with a date and time for an Xbox Live Halo 2 party: Saturday, June 26, 2005 at 8 PM Eastern Time. For those who are too lazy, that's 7PM Central Time, 6PM Mountain Time, and 5PM Pacific time.

If you can make it, post. And if you have any suggestions for game types, maps to use, etc., post those as well.

Please be on Xbox LIVE about 5 minutes earlier and then wait in the Halo 2 lobby for my invite. This should be about an hour of fun playing!

Y'know, I'm thinking that any sort of RWP Xbox Live endeavor should be recorded and uploaded somewhere. And Icy would be perfect to do it, but he seems to be on hiatus for the moment (I'd do it if I had Live).

Heck, maybe Xbox live RWP tournaments could be put up on the RWP Archive...

Now obviously they'd have to be edited, because nobody wants to download a 4+ hour video. But I think it would be a fun thing to have.

Yeah we could abbridge it by just showing all 85 times I die in one match in 1 second individual clips.

The only way to contact Icy Guy IS X-box Online. Fortunately I see him on there frequently though and I'll be sure to point him in the direction of this meeting. Between the times he kills me. (I hate sucking)

Just talked to Icy over Xbox Live and, his message was a little jarbled, but I think he said that he's going to be busy then. So, any other sugguestions? A weekend would be best, but I suppose weekdays would be good at night. Oh yes, he also gave you all a mesage. Prepare for the thrashing. :) Oh yes, Gold, Bungie has the stats from the match so we will at least have that.

Well, well, well... About 30 minutes ago we had a little RWP Meeting of the Live. I forgot how to post stats, but if I remember how, I'll do it. We lost the 1st and 2nd games (Jase ;)), but won the third by a lot. Jason was very good at killing teammates early in the round. :p

EDIT- Oh yes, Icy said that the date for the official meeting is good. Hope to see everyone there!

Yes, we had quite a blast on Saturday, although it was a shame Grey couldn't attend.

1st game: Team Slayer on Midship (http://www.bungie.net/Stats/GameStats.aspx?gameID=210646989). As you can see, Andre outscored everyone else on our team. Surprising. ;) The best part of the match was when our opponents were "talking smack," but then we would kill them, thereby cutting them off in mid-sentence.

2nd game: Team Slayer on Warlock. (http://www.bungie.net/Stats/GameStats.aspx?gameID=210654549) I love Warlock. I also love outscoring every other person in the game. At one point, I almost had a Triple Kill (3 kills within 4 seconds of each other), and after he heard me mention it, Borgnagar would stand over my body and (in a stereotypical/annoying/mocking French accent) say "Triple Kill." Near the end of the match, I took him out with a shotgun blast at point-blank range, adding "Triple Kill!" as I walked away.

3rd game: Team Slayer on Midship. (http://www.bungie.net/Stats/GameStats.aspx?gameID=210663629) Can you say "owned"? Jason managed to end his "kill NoQuestion7 at the start of the round" streak, and, in doing so, did surprisingly well. Looking at the Medals (http://www.bungie.net/Stats/GameStats.aspx?panel=medals&gameid=210663629) page shows that NoQuestion and Jason got Triple Kills, as well as the fact that Jason went overboard with "sticking" people with Plasma Grenades. However, my big, 21-medal style can not be defeated, to paraphrase Sergeant Johnson. ;) ("Our big green style can not be defeated!")

Yes, I understand Icy. ;) On another note, "Triple Kill" was the most hilarious thing ever. And your friend imatating him... :D Anyway, I hope that everyone can join us for some (Team Slayer?) action on Saturday the 25th at 8:00. Should be a lot of fun. And you RWPers without XBL? Goto a friends house and tell me his GamerTag. :)

Just a quick reminder folks! The RWP Halo 2 Brawl is tonight (Saturday) at 8:00 PM EST. To play, just post here and be online in Halo 2 at 7:55, if possible. Expect a party invite from me (InheritedToe) at let the games begin! We'll play as long as possible. Hopefully for about an hour and a half! Should be fun! The player list is below.
