Read (http://news.gamewinners.com/index.php/news/3128/) all about it. Discuss. :) And Andre with your permission I'll post this on the blog.

EDIT: Hold up found something else. Seems (http://news.gamewinners.com/index.php/weblog/news/revolution_classic_game_downloads_may_be_enhanced/) that the classic games available for download from Nintendo may be graphicly updated. Plus other tiny features. Also discuss.

That's kind of confusing. Cartridge? And what's with the LCD touch screen? it'd be nice if there was a picture of it.

I like the idea of a tilt-sensitive controller - if Nintendo puts their brains to it, they could find it veeeeeery useful for FPS's.

However, the low amount of buttons seems kind of disturbing.

Hmm could Nintendo be planning on using the controller to play DS and GBA games? Like the Dreamcast had with that Vitural Memory Unit?

Ah you can post it on the blog. In fact, all you blog members can post it all. ;) On topic, this is very intresting. Especially since Nintendo said no touch screens, or screens at all.

If the buttons are on touch screen I am going to cry and beg for a third party controller with fixed plastic buttons.

I read here (http://gamesradar.msn.co.uk/news/default.asp?pagetypeid=2&articleid=36392&subsectionid=1587) that the patent was filed in 2003.

I'm going to wait until it's properly revealed, because it doesn't sound right to me. And considering that the final Revolution controller isn't even finished (http://www.pro-g.co.uk/news/nid/869/), I doubt there would be a patent on it anyway. So how this got brought up, I have no idea.

I still like my idea of a tactile touch screen. IE: A touch screen where physical buttons actually come up. For example, when playing a GCN game, out pops the GCN Buttons. When playing an NES game, there's your classic D-Pad + A/B. Revolution? There's whatever the hell that combo's going to be.

That would make button combos a bit hard, unless you used your fingers.

I wish rare would come back, enhanced BK and BT!

They are probably going to just do mostly the NES and SNES games to a 3D like way. (Like in the upcoming Super Mario Bros.) The N64 titles probably will be left untouched. (Or maybe not.) (Also, Banjo-Kazooie/Tooie, and I think Jet Force Gemini were the only Rare N64 games appearing. Conker probably isn't on there either due to the remake, or from the M rating or something like that.)
This "patent" for the controller seems very weird. The cart slot may be for automatic playing of GBA games? Different controls for the controller? Who knows what could be coming.

That patent supposedly filed about the Rev's controller? Well, Gamespot Rumor Control (http://www.gamespot.com/news/2005/06/24/news_6128178.html) clears that right up.

Edit: For those too lazy to click the link and read the story, according to Gamespot this was actually a patent for a GBA-GCN connection thing involving gyroscopics. There's pictures from the patent to prove it in the Rumor Control. Apparently, Gamesradar read the patent without looking at the pictures, and interpreted it to be a description of the Revolution's controller. That whole "cartridge slot in the controller thing"? That's because the controller is just a GBA! Thanks a lot to Gamesradar for confusing us all.

Sorry about that guys. :p But on the other article what're your thoughts? Good move or bad one?

The updated classic games? Well, as long as everything else about the games other than their graphics is exactly the same, it doesn't matter to me.

Here, this will probably be the Revolution's controller: http://img292.echo.cx/img292/5527/revyam4hx.jpg
