I try to save my TGF game as a .zip file and it won't work! Here's what I normally do:

1. Turn game into stand alone game.

2. Right click on game, send to compressed (zipped) folder.

3. Unzip file.

4. Try to open game, and it says "Error opening file".

What am I doing wrong?

Make sure you have a copy of the game's original .gam (TGF save) file with your game in the zip. Put the .gam with the stand-alone .exe file into a folder together and turn the folder into a .zip. You see, even though you've made a stand-alone file, it still needs the .gam file for data. So yeah, put both the .gam and the stand-alone into a .zip. Make sure the two files have the same name or else it will not work. I used to use TGF myself, though nothing came out of it, got rid of it and now I'm trying to learn Darkbasic.

I really don't think you need the GAM file in the zip. At least, I never had to put it in when I used TGF.

It doesn't work without it.

Yeah... when the hell did that start?

Are you sure you're doing a FULL stand-alone extraction? Because a partial one with need the info from the gam...
