Rockband 2 or Guitar Hero 4 ?

Which one will come out on top in your oppinion? If you want info on the games, (if you dont know much about them you can go to IGN.com)

I heard that that Guitar Hero is going to have high hats and crash symbols

But rockband looks alot beter and will have alot more songs

Rock Band 2 is better at the time being for me, although I enjoy the song selection in Guitar Hero: World Tour also.

I don't really care 'cause I'm getting both, but I have a feeling I'm going to be playing GH4 more purely because of the song creation.

id say rockband 2 cause of a few reasons 1. Neversoft and activision are ***s and try to get exclusive rights to everything so music companies lose so alot of people like ac/dc wont go to them. 2. all the songs i want to play on gtwt are on rb2 or on rb dlc. 3. only songs that arnt on rock band at this time that i want that are announced hotel california, crazy train, and that muse song. 4. by the looks of it the musik creator sucks (too me anyway its a way overhyped thing) 5. only reason it has drums and such is because rockband did amazing and activision and neversoft want to try and make a bigger success and are pretty much copyin the idea. 6. rock band drums have a metal kick pedal and 3 optional cymbals. 7. there are probally more reasons so i wont add them since i just woke up.

Yes, Rock Band 2, and the company that built it, is far better suited for music games, and I really suggest this thread get locked because we already have a very long going thread right here...

But, yeah, honestly, if songs are all you want, Rock Band 2's your game. For me, I like additional features and a good ammount of difficulty in my games, so I'm going with World Tour.

Rockband-

-Kick Ass drums
-Drum trainer mode
-Accurate note representation
-I can use some of my favorite Jackson guitars and Fender P and Jazz basses
-I prefer the art style
-Some good endorsement from some brands I use myself (IE Ernie Ball strings, Jackson, ect.)
-Lots of songs obviously, plus the new setlist kicks so much ass on it's own with Motorhead, Megadeth, Tenacious D, Judas Priest, ect...

Overall I'm looking forward to Rock Band 2, but GH:WT looks ok.
