The internet gaming thread

Basicly I got this idea from the thread(players wanted...).

This thread is diferant however in the fact it is for all games that people want to play online.

What I think I would do is put up a post 'advertising' a multiplayer game of your choice. After that people can then post with things like comments, passwords ect. (remebering of cource not to hijack this thread, i.e. if you wish to chat, open the chat dialog box in the game you are playing).
Because the thread shouldn't be hijacked this will allow someone ells the chance to 'advertise' another multiplayer game and so on and so forth.

So I'll start off with 'advertising' a game of GoldenEye(I don't know how to play online but if someone could teach me that would be great)
If that dosn't take your fancy then how about a Co-op or fight in X-Wing Alliance. I have X-wing Alliance open right now if you want to play. :)

The games I can play online for PC are: Counter-Strike: Condition Zero and Doom 3.

I would love to play Goldeneye over the net with people here but I also do not know how to at the moment. I will try and learn after school though :)

And thank god for that, because I hate the guys that chill back and sniper. Its fair I suppose, but I hate the fact that everytime I turn on ascension or a similar stage I can't just enjoy running up and actually fighting someone, I have to hide back and sniper. Long range ruins the game for me because I think it's boring as hell.

Now small stages like Warlock, no one snipers (probably because they can't) so I love it.

Myself and "The Captain" spent an entire game just trying to get up there via Banshee reversing. I finally made it with around 10 seconds of the round left.

I've been trying but I can't figure out how to start a server (I found out how to connect to one....i think). The server site is down (for me) and it appears to be just too old. I'll keep trying to look into it, but no luck so far.

I tried making a server myself (using Kaillera Server) however it looks like it needs to connect to the main site (which is down), what have you tried because it doesn't appear to be connecting. :(

Well the window has been up for 10 minuts now and it still says "requesting lists..."

Iv tried pressing connnect after typing a username. Iv also tryed searching for kaillera on google to see how others did it. (it has been done because I read a page about someone not able but then able to however he/she dosn't explain what he/shge did..)

Sorry for this long delay again... the computer started running realy slow, a snail could have walked faster, then it came up with this error in 65437randome numbers644.vxd I pressed a key and it went black then it came up with system buisy then unstable then ---- I restarted...
at the time I basicly tryed pressing all the buttons on the window when Goldeneye locked up*dddd,dld,dddd,dld,dddd,dura,dura,drua,d,d,d,d,d ,d,d,d,d,d,d,d,...*

No, I got the program to make a server but it still needs the website up (www.kaillera.com) and unfortunately it's not Which means I can't make a server then no NetPlay unfortunately.

It had a database with all the info of the servers that were made. The person trying to connect to a game server would actually connect to a part of that site to find all the info they needed.

I don't know if there's anyway to bypass it and placing it on this site would require changiong the program (I think) which I'm not able to do.

Hello anyone here want a game of chess?
Move the mouse and click untill board has loaded.(by pressing space) this is because it aparently preforms an ilegal operation if you don't. It works fine though, and well on win3.1.

sorry, turns out im gonna be away from my computer tommorow. :( Post back here another time and day. Ill create the game on some serv, we might be playin Facilty BZ, Wrecks been out-fitting it with activators so it doesnt crash in Kaillera. Post a server too if you prefer, im not sure where you live, hopefully we wont have a lag problem.

AIM is AOL Instant Messenger, I hate AOL and its about the only thing I could ever possibly use AOL related, but thats a differnet story. PLease, if you want to contact me, use AIM. Contrary to your belief, leaving your browser window open does not keep you on. That data is based on your IP making request over the past minutes. So unless you refresh every five minutes, thats not gonna work.
