GTA: San Andreas Patch Released

As expected, patches are now available for the US, EU, AUS and DE editions of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas updating the game to v1.01. The update removes the controversial Hot Coffee content, adds 720p and 1080i resolution suport and fixes several game bugs. Hmm, now where's The Sims 2 patch? :)

The reason there isn't a Sims 2 patch is because the unmodified game has no genitilia in it. The modification that removes the blurring adds on the genitilia. It's not there until the modification places it there. As for GTA, meh I don't really like GTA but frankly I could care less about it, though I would probably not buy it for a kid even without the Hot Coffee content. Incidentally, why is it that parents buy a game called "Grand Theft Auto" for a 10-year old and think, "Hmm, it's called 'Grand Theft Auto', maybe its not appropriate for junior." If they don't have at least that much common sense, then they should at least look at the rating; if the rating is M for mature which stands for "Only 17 and over", why do you buy it for a 10-year-old? Doesn't anyone have any sense anymore? Thompson doesn't understand, its not the games corrupting the children, its the parents being stupid enough to buy the game for their kids without any second thoughts.

Thank you. And that is the whole point, Of course kids will play the game, but if a parent does thier job and filters what the kids can and can't get access to maybe this could've all been avoided.

Thank God. I'll be the first person to download and patch my PC version of "Grand Theft Auto." I want to shoot people in the face, bang prostitutes, traffic drugs, steal cars, and terrorize police officers without this filthy smut in my game.

Ahhh, the one thing I actually agree with Maddox on. Most of the time he's not funny, but this time he hit the nail on the head. The only funny part of Maddox's site is the hate mail he gets. Something Awful pwns Maddox. Seriously, the only reason Maddox started his webstie was to try to steal attention away from SA after they Permabanned him from the forums.

I don't care about GTA anyways, I thought they were all extremely over-rated.
