RWP Member Tournament II Pre-Show!

Following the success of the first RWP Member Tournament, I have decided to begin a sequel competition. It will feature the same great game play and style coupled with different seeding, different members, and a couple twists and turns.

Being that the first tournament has just reached its close I felt it would be overkill to start another one so soon. Thus, this tournament will not actually begin for about two or three weeks, give or take. In the mean time, so as to not completely die off and leave a void of empty hype, let me introduce you to the RWPMT II Pre-Show!

What does this consist of? Well, there will be several announcements regarding the tournament as time progresses, such as starting dates, changes in style, etc. There will also be TWO contests that contain beneficial prizes for the victor.

Also, every day for the next week I will post EIGHT new people that have locked spots in this tournament. With the recent increase of new members and returning old ones, adjustments had to be made to the roster. Check back every day to make sure you got added on (or if you already were on, check to make sure you STAYED on).

Announcements
1. As victor of the previous contest, I abstain from this one. So there will be no Grey Jinjo entrant this time.
2. Golden Jiggy has won the first game, and as her prize is allowed to pick any position in the tournament she wants.
3. The tournament will begin August 21st, tentatively. Book it.
4. R Hunter has won the second game, earning him the right to skip directly to round 2.
5. 10 preliminary matches will be held August 18-20.

Game #1 (Over)
This game is a rather simple, bland game of “Guess the number”. Yes, I’m sure you’ve all played this before but probably not with a useful prize on the line.

I am thinking of a number between 1 and 60. Post your guess. First person to get it wins.

You must wait until FIVE PEOPLE guess AFTER you before guessing again. So you guess, five people guess, then you can again. Let’s hope no one breaks the system, it isn’t that complex -- really.

Part A: I will post a question. The first person that answers the question, gets entered in to part B. This process will repeat with a new question until we have four participants.

Hey I needed to add some kind of substance to my post, even if it was just a semi-random guess. :p

Anyways, going back and actually trying this time, I've learned that Hakey probably has the best method. Counting the number of days with no birthdays in the calendar section of the site was extremely long and tedious, as it looks like it would be extremely easy to count several days twice.
