Awsome, graphics arn't top but I didn't expect anything like the real deal anyways. Heres a couple questions.
So do you have any plans for Stop in swop and such?
How far is it to being complete?

So do you have any plans for Stop in swop and such?
Actually, we have something much similar. It doesn't involve eggs or keys in anyway, but something else. (You'll also need this game's sequal, which is not yet in devlopement, to complete the transfers.)
How far is it to being complete?
I'm going to say about %30 -%50 complete. The game was supposed to be released this weekend, but Dougie and me felt that the game lacked extra mini-games and features, so we're adding more mini-games, features, and worlds.

We are scripting in C++. We are also using Multimedia Fusion.
No thank you, I already have MMF.

What program are you using to create this game, is it downloadable, I know alot about computers, so i figure I'll be able to figure it out, or is it a program you made, or part of a company?

 Hey, that looks awesome. Considering it was done mainly using C++, thats some serious work you guys put into it. So how long has it taken? a few months? around a year?
Oh yeah, the sprites turned out very good for a fan based game. Though Banjo's eyes do look too big for his head....:p

It's being made in Multimedia Fusion. I do not know what software is used to finalize the C++.

You have to purchase it through clickteam.com (There is also a demo.)
The program only costs $100. I don't think that's a lot if you know you're gonna use it a lot.

You know, we do have the same first name. lol. Anyway, could you explain how the engine is and what moves he'll be able to perform and awareness of bugs? I've made a couple good Sonic The Hedgehog and helped others with Zelda fangames, but nothing Banjo, although I think he's way easier to do then Sonic. I'm willing to help if you need it. I could e-mail you one of my games/demos of Sonic if you need a job prescription. You don't have to accept my offer. But if you do... I'm here.

hey guys, its Dougie here, the other half to the team. I'm pleased to say it looks like the game is going to be very enjoyable with Jason on board now. You can email ideas to him and myself however only Jason and I will handle the code for the game as 2's a company, 3's a crowd kinda thing. A new demo should be out as soon as we check the lastest build however the demo will only be of the first (maybe second) worlds. We may include some mini games in there as well, we'll see how lucky you are. :)

1) A suggestion. Make Banjo a little bigger please.
2) Will Banjo be using his B-T moves? I'd at least like the Pack Whack, and Shack Pack in there.
3) Will you be using original bosses or recycling ones from Banjo-Tooie? I only ask because of that screen with the pictures of Tooie Bosses.
4) Is Mumbo in this? Aint Banjo-Kazooie without some of his patented Mighty Mumbo Magic!
5) Why does Kazooie have to be the one that gets kidnapped? It'll be weird w/o her smart allecky remarks.
Aside from all that, the game looks interesting.

It's for the program, but if you were that dedicated to making games you wouldn't use those tools. You'd create them all from scratch using c++/directx or whatever, but those beginners tools are ok for fan games etc.

i am handling some C++ scripting for the game. The original format of the game was in C++ but was ported to MMF because that was the popular tool that others used however it doesnt take rocket sceince to put C++ scripting in MMF apps. Infact, more MMF apps should use it. BKWR will be a mixture of the two so that we can adjust and tweak things a lot better than MMF and generally save file space that MMF commands can eat up.

Okay, let me answer all these questions people are so confused about. People who really like banjo can make what are called Fan-games. These are games made by ordinary people in their spare time. banjo-Kazzoie : witches unite (I beleve thats the title), is a fan game made using a computer program. Now, many people have done these games in the past, i myself have seen many, but most banjo sites are long dead, so there very scrarce. If you really would like to make a game, you can use the softwear used by the makers of this game, they will tell you where to get it, or you can download your own free at gamemaker.com, but there are planty of other ways to make computer games, if your interested try a search engine.. (do you yahoo?)

Especially to see how all the bugs are kicked out of the system. (I got stuck on the MMM cemetary gate, and there is a typo with the kingo at one point, but those aren't big deals.)

You do know, the English version of RPG Maker is illegal....well, I hope you do.
Anyway, no. I'm staying with Clickteam...you can do tons of stuff on it that you can't do with RPGM. Plus, we use C++, and anything's possible with C and C++.
REQUIREMENTS:
Windows 95 and higher
1.1 GHz (and higher)
256 MB Sync RAM (about 50MB lower, or higher)
10 MB of Free Space (or higher)
Intel Celeron (and higher) Processor
These are the specs for one of my computers and the game works fine.
AT SOME POINTS YOU MAY GET "ILLEGAL OPERATION" WINDOW DIALOGS!!! THIS IS DUE TO THE AMOUNT OF RAM THE GAME TAKES UP ON YOUR COMPUTER! IT IS ADVISED THAT YOU CLOSE ALL OTHER PROGRAMS BEFORE PLAYING THIS DEMO!

Umm... As a game producer, I have to say it lacks. It's good and all, but there is definite need for improvement. Let's start with the cutscenes. The 1st part of over Banjo's valley is too fast (displaying text) and the 2nd part is too slow. The game over sequence is nice though. However, spelling errors really tick me off in-games. And I saw plenty of them. Please take the time and effort to fix them. Now for the levels. I assume the first level you mentioned is complete as it did not display the words, demo, beside it. However, I go through the level getting stuff. I enter the mountain and get the Jiggy and the game restarts itself. The next level is O.K. and all except for the fact I get stuck in the bridge every time I bump into it and have to ESC. I also don't like how small the worlds are. You should make them bigger and have warp holes. Finally, the mini-game. Probably the worst problem here is that it should not be excluded from the game and actually be included with the knowledge actually received during gameplay. I found myself thinking back to B-K days and then when I tried to look at Banjo's in-game eyes and pressed the selection, I got a wrong answer. It's not the first or last answer for anyone who has played it yet. Also, when I "die" and restart, the text is messed up because you reloaded the level. My solutions is to always have a level card before, but that's traditional to my games (Sonic), so I guess you'll have to work it out differently. Also, how come the only moves are fireballs, a shield (or whatever), and talking? It's O.K. and it works, but it just gets way too repetitive. Also, get a much better title screen. Lastly, make a readme with the controls.
Now for the pros (along with some other cons). :p The game features great music. However, the game lacks incredibly in sounds. I don't even think I heard one! Get some jingles/sounds for the Jiggies and Notes. The graphics are acceptable. However I have one problem with them. There is no variety. Sometimes it's just flat plains. That's O.K. once in a while, but make them have some enemies, plants, or something. Also, I think the size for Banjo is O.K., but it should be about 5-10% bigger so he can actually compare to his surroundings.
That's basically it. Please don't take these comments personally, but this game needs a heck of a lot of work. It's the best Banjo game out there (granted there's not that many), but it needs a ton of improvement. Also, I'm not doing this because you said my game is glitchy (which I still am confused why you say that, because it isn't), just as a friend giving advice. :) That's all!

First, I want to remind you that this is a demonstration...which means it's just used to show you parts of gameplay.
Yes, we are aware of spelling errors. I'll get around to fixing them soon.
The first world does need a few fixes, and getting the jiggy is supposed to take you back the menu, becuase this is a demo.
I thought for sure I fixed that gate problem! What happens is Banjo's ears get stick in between the gate's pixels. This will be fixed.
The question about Banjo's eyes will be removed in the inal version and replaced with a different question (a much more in-game question). We had to change it becuase you can't play the level with the answer in the demo. For those that still don't know, the correct answer is BLUE.
I assume you died in the first world. In the final version a loading frame is placed before it.
Other moves MAY be added. We have a fireball upgrade planned. If I can get this into the game, we can make the game longer than it currently is.
The title screen is better in the final version, and a README file will be included.
Sounds are going to be recorded and added.
I'll add some more detial to the game's floors. In the final version more baddies will be added.
I go back to school tomorrow, so production will start getting slow.

hey, i'm dougie, a developer on the bkwr team. it was just to say that the progress of the game right now is amazing. the demo does not show the true brilliance but because it was a demo we naturally wanted people to want more. some bug and spelling fixes are needed and i have just fixed the game to run on wayy slower machines than 1ghz and more enemies and activities will be added.
thanks for downloading the game!

I'm glad you all enjopyed it. Apperantly some people didn't.
Game lacks stuff that a good fan game should have. Make it better you scum!
It sucked!!! Those graphics were extremely horrible.... and basically the levels are BORING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THERE IS NO FUN IN IT!!! Go and play BKPC2..... thats a good game..... Id rather watch paint dry than play your shitty game.
Apperantly these people don't understand the word "demo".
Anyway, both of those comments made me pretty mad...so mad that i could literally punch someone. No, really.

Yes, I'm sure they could do better jobs. I hate people like that. Just ignore them though: I mean so what if they thought your game sucked, you like it dont you? And practically everyone here at the RWP has tried it and enjoyed it for that matter. And plus, remember its a demo. Finish it up, then impress them with the final version.

I finally played your demo, and I have to say that it is very good so far. I like the idea of revisiting old levels and things. I can't wait to play it when it's finished. What's the story behind Kingos? Oh well, I guess I'll find out when your game comes out.
