Hey guys. I kinda half-cinvinced my mom to let me get GoW 2. I told her that you can turn off the blood and langauge (you can, right?), and she said she'll look into it. I need to convince her further. Please help me convince, with true facts about how it isn't all so bad :o

Please?

It is a collection of coding etc, which when combined creates television pixels to change colours.... plus if we are to be invaded by aliens we need all the practise we can get :)

Yes, language and blood/gore can be turned off. The language is bleeped out, and there is absolutely no blood.

Yeah, you can turn off language and/or gore, which effectively makes it like a 12.
I haven't checked yet but in Gears 1 with gore off, in multiplayer people would take complete spasms when killed and the sparks is actually pretty cool...

Tell her you see worse in real day life if people open their eyes :P. What is it with certain parents and video games :-/.

Actually I tested it and filters do a hell of a lot. It's like T rated.

I wish that when you turned off the gore and language, that it'd do this. (http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2008/8/11/)

:) Reminds me of Paintball mode on Goldeneye.

Why don't games give those kind of rewards anymore?
