1up.com (http://www.1up.com/do/previewPage?cId=3143361&did=1) have posted a video of the arcade version of Mario Kart. I'd love to go out into the real world and kick some ass, but with Mario Kart DS and online games around the corner, I'll be able to kick real people's asses soon enough anyway.

Yeah there's Pacman alright and they brought back the use of coins in this game too! (Also was I the only one who saw something that looked liek the Saturn logo at thebeginning of the race.)
I think this title will be made into a Revolution game at some point and does anyone else find it rediculous that Nintendo aren't including Online Battle mode for Mario Kart DS?

Yeah, the lack of a battle mode online would disappoint quite a few people but that's something we never used to play a lot of on the N64, just the Grand Prix and Versus. I hope that we see the bananas, shells and stars return if they do make this into a Revolution title.
What you though was the Saturn logo was a blue shell I think.

I guess so, I kept trying to rewind the video to get a better look but it was being streamed. >_>

Yeah, the video wasn't the best quality. I thought it was gonna be direct feed, because of the screenshots on the left, but alas. Still, it was good when the video wasn't slowing down.

I haven't heard much about Mario Kart DS Online, explain something to me, once I get it and the whole Online play thing comes into action are you telling me I'd be able to play against people on the RWP? If so, I'm looking forward to it
As for this arcade version. Well I don't really play them but It does look really good.

You should be able to play anybody all around the world.
Only 4 people per race though....

As long as I get to beat Everybody here (Yeah right  ) then I'm happy. We could also make a RWP tournament type thing with Mario Kart DS.... I think that would be pretty cool
Oh also, see GM2K, see GM2K go off topic, Run GM2K

That arcade looks soooooo cool! Why, that could be a console game! The graphics were excellent, and that piranha plant jungle course looked fun. I can't wait... I'll walk to the nearest arcade just to play this!
Too bad it had to have pacman in it, though. I mean, what DOES he have to do with Mario? Lousy Namco...

Mario Kart GP looks like it could blow Double Dash right out of the water! That game looks fantastic! Hopefully we'll see a console release.

Well it's this is a game by the Triforce partnership (Nintendo-Namco-Sega), the game is made by Namco, so they (Nintendo) allow them (Namco) to add some of their Characters.
Just like Namco allowed Nintendo to make a Pacman for Gamecube...
Pacman rules!

Yeah, it will be interesting to see how the DS online stuff pans out. I wonder if people can join as spectators because it would be good to have tournaments.

Hooray! I've been waiting for an arcade game like this to come out. I am a huge fan of the Mario Kart series and I look forward to playing this.

How cool is these, these Remote Controlled (R/C) Mario Karts are controlled with a GameCube looking Remote Transmitterl!!
They come in Mario, DK and Yoshi variety for the big size R/C carts.

The Mario one plays real game sounds such as "mama mia" and "lets go"
If i could get a hobby shop to 'upgrade' the engine n stuff this would be the coolest!
because 27mhz is slow i think... even with the turbo...
The yoshi and DK versions seem to be 49mhz.
In australia these are $84. from the one shop, i saw em at.

27mhz is the frequency of the transmitter.
