I have to say perfect darks multiplayer is better, i played an unhealthy amount of that game and i think the areas were superior to golden eye's, so which one do you guys prefer?

This my friend, belongs in the Rare Ware section.
I'll go with Golden Eye.

My Vote's with Goldeneye. I still love that little corner where I snipe people in the Library.

I'd have to go with Perfect Dark, as it's extremely customizable. Right down to the music you want playing.

I would have to say Goldeneye beacause I grew up with it. Plus Perfect Dark dosen't have deathmatch.

...Yes, it does. I don't know if it's actually called "Deathmatch", but it does exist.

Goldeneye without a doubt. It puts Halo to shame.

Could you tell me how to access it? I probably missed it on the menu. All I could find was coopertive play. Do you have to have two controllers plugged in to see all of the mulltiplayer modes?

It's been a while since I've played Perfect Dark, so I can't recall exactly... but it should be configurable in the Combat Simulator. You can either set up teams, or have a free-for-all. Cooperative play would pertain to the main game only, so you're probably just looking in the wrong place.

Do you have to have two controllers plugged in to see all of the mulltiplayer modes?

Nope, since the multiplayer mode can be played with only one player, you shouldn't need another controller plugged in. Although to play alone, you will have to set up bots (or "sims") to play with. Otherwise, another player will have to press "Start" while in the Combat Simulator to enter the game -- but you can still have bots running around.

Heh. My cousin and I would often play the Complex level with explosives, with us on a team against the bots on a team. Great fun :)

Thanks. I didn't know that it was the combat simulator.

If you have someone to play with, GoldenEye's is better. If you don't have any friends, then Perfect Dark takes the cake.

But if you have Xbox Live, then Hal-...oh, wait. We're not talking about Halo 2 here. :p

GE. Besides, if you know a couple addresses, you can hack the weapon list, limits, characters, etc all on the fly. -that and it is much easier on the eyes.
