An M-rated hack of B-T? [Archive]

I was thinking recently, what if someone were to hack Banjo-Tooie to make the game "M-rated"? I mean, currently the game already has quite a large share of sexual innuendos, some violence, and even blood on the fight with Lord Woo Fak Fak. What if all of this were taken up a notch? Imagine Jolly's being an actual gay bar, or swearing in sections as well. (although not with Banjo, he doesn't deserve to swear. Kazooie maybe though...)

I don't know enough about hacking to actually do this myself, but compared to full-scale rom hacks, this would probably be quite easy to do.

I don't think an 'in-your-face' crude humour Banjo game would work. I prefer my humor sly and subtle.

I agree, Banjo's humor is more subtle innuendos. Leave Conker to the in your face jokes. ;)

If you actually put some thought into the text instaed of adding "F***" and "gay" everywhere like most ROM hackers do, it could actually be funny. Although I expect people to simply do that because the internet's vocabulary is so limited. It is NOT funny altering scripts and finding ways to put naughty words in there, regardless of the 11 year olds giggling about it on youtube videos that display that.

I can see Kazooie saying things like "Hell" and "Damn" making it "T for Teen", but "F***" would be too over the line, mainly because it would seem like your trying to put in "f***" to much. Example"
