Australia just got the Darkrai event in October last year so it will still be a while before we get this one :(

At least we're getting them now. Thanks to the DS Local Wireless they can set up access point in stores. Back in Red/Blue Gold/Silver we had to go to a place specially set up for it and that was only like 2 places in Victoria for 2 days. Not possible for me to get to. Yay for progress. NFC events would be better though. Shaymin from the comfort of my own chair...

seriously it took us a year to get a Darkrai event and it only went by once and was nowhere near where I was.

Has anybody actually been to one of these events? I always imagined they would be full of little kids.

I went to one for Mew as a little kid and the place was full of other little kids. Can't speak for the recent trend, though.

When I got Darkrai, there were hella little kids there, as well as a few people going for the sake of getting free pokemon. I didn't expect a few of my friends would go, either.

I traveled 80 ****ing miles to get a Mew in 06 because that was the closest Toys R Us, and you know what, it's just not worth it anymore.

I think Cheats have to be the awnser for things like this, in Scotland there is never any events going on, and the few times there was events in the UK, it was in England :(

That's why I go in front of the store and get them there. I don't even step inside.

I never acctually went to one of these but it would be intresting. I usually hacked the wondercard/event though so I could just go and catch them.

If I ever went though it would be for collection; I'm not soft reseting for this thing.
