Ugh, cut down on the periods buddy. Anyway, I most definitely will not. I have three versions of Dance Dance Revolution anyway. Don't need anymore dance pads.

Somehow, that game makes Mario look like a sex scandal.

I'll try to cut down on the periods. I'm just used to it. :D

I'm going to get it. I'd never play in public (as it's too embarrassing) and I've never owned a home version before, so I'm looking forward to dancing! :D

personally I hate dance games they really have no purpose and are boring.

You lose the thread. Anyway, I believe the point is to lose weight, which many gamers need to do.

I think Nintendo was just trying to get a bit of the DDR cash cow, but who knows. Nintendo may actually want to use this as a hidden exercise program to approve of parents (so they can get by with something, like a bloody Twilight Princess...).
I'll buy it, so I won't get pwned so badly when my friend and I play at the arcade.

I have a set of Cobalt Flux pads that were approximately $630 total. Unless CF releases a Gamecube converter box, I won't buy it simply because I never want to purchase a pad again. Ever.

I ain't getting it. I suck at DDR. Why i'd want to embarrass myself in: A) a public place or B) at home, is beyond me.

I used to think that until I started playing Pump It Up with my friends in the arcade, attempting to push myself hard enough to beat the next hardest song. Dancing games are much, much deeper than you might initially think. There's the whole matter of trying to keep your balance enough to hit the next step with ease and speed - and the whole matter of "drilling" steps, too, which can be frighteningly difficult. All very clever and fun stuff, anyway. Great, great, great fun.
And as such, I'll be getting this - even if it does look pathetically easy.

Oh my god, some one else here has played Pump-It-Up? I love Pump-It-Up. CF is suppose to be coming out with a converter box for the PS2 console version and when they do I am definitely picking up a copy.
I suck at it now because I only got to play it in the arcades around five times. All I got to was beating a 7-baller (I think... is that what Turkish March is?) on Hard. Can't even touch the difficulty above that =/.
If you like PiU you should try In The Groove. For those of you that never heard of it, it is essentially DDR, except it actually GOES to the music and has a much higher difficulty.

PIU owns! DDR is good too, even though I like PIU's song diversity and challenge (Dignity and Beethoven Virus). I haven't played DDR in a while seeing as my pad messed up, but I used to could get a B on Tsugaru on heavy no problem. I'm pretty bad at Pump, though. I only played a few times, and then it was at an arcade and I made a total fool of myself. :(
As for Mario DDR? Nah, it will probably be too easy. I also read somewhere that it won't include a big variety of songs. Can someone correct/confirm this?

Great find Banjookie! I look forward to those songs especially. I'm glad Nintendo actually put in lots of Mario songs (as opposed to Donkey Konga 2 which barely had any Nintendo songs at all)!

I can't wait to play Csikos post as luigi :P
I'm wondering, will the provided dancing mat be enough stable/durable? Or I'll slip/fall/break the mat/die while trying hard difficulty? XD

I'm pretty sure it will be the same as other DDR mats, It will probably include a warning label or something

I doubt there's anything you can do. I'm probably going to contact Dell or a computer specialist and ask them. Anyway the problem is that there's no sound. No headphones, no speakers... Nothing works. It's been that way for about a month... Oh well.
