Suggestion: Make "announcements" such as what games are coming out this week. I'd also suggest a game reviewing segment, where the game is most likely suggested by a member. Could be any game from any time, and the host(ess[s]) would rate it, and tell about it's upbringings and downfalls. I'd definitely enjoy it more. Basically, any way of showing that you're really connected to the community is a plus.

Maybe you guys could do an occasional Skype version of the Roundtable. I remember this website called Marathon Gamer that did a Banjo-Kazooie marathon, as well as a few other games that even the RWP promoted on there homepage, and they did a weekly podcast of just the type of things that this Roundtable had; gaming/other news, as well as 'what are you playing now?'. And then they would also allow people who were listening to join in on the conversation, if they pressed the button that sends a request to be able to talk.

You could also have 'Quote of the Week', and the 'Hargle Blargle' section, in which you say things.
Just things, can be what you like, probably the equivilent of "sliced lettuce versus the guy who did that thing with the thing and now the IRA are coming to take my mailbox" kind of thing.

I think something that discusses the influence of games in pop culture would be nice. In other words, we can keep our eyes opened for media works that reference (or are about) video games and give our $0.02 on it, and talk about how gaming culture is depicted. If all else fails, we can have an Insubstantiated Fox News Video Game Slander Watch.

I was thinking about blogs towards the end of season 1. Not sure if it would do so well as a segment on it's own (sometimes we have trouble picking discussion worthy topics, I imagine blogs would be worse), but perhaps extending Forum Watch to include Blogs so that we pick either a topic or a blog each week.

That depends because one, I'm not sure when the show is returning, and two, I'm not in charge of picking guest hosts. But I think it's definitely an open possibility.

Shows are always done on Fridays (or Saturday mornings if you're in Australia), so just plan for that.
