Yes, you heard me, I got Mario DDR today.........and it's way too easy. I beat the game in less than an hour and I can B or A every song on Heavy or Super Heavy. :(

While it's easy, it's still pretty fun. The minigames in story mode are a good break from the easy dance songs, but I didn't like the Mush mode (it adds things like koopas you have to kick, goombas to stomp, and dodge bullet bills and stuff like that) at all. It was like the bombs in regular DDR, but more confusing.

I'm working on beating the game on Hard, Very Hard and Super Hard (Standard, Heavy and Challenge).

And another thing; this game isn't completely out yet, right? Because we had to ask the guy at the counter at EB games to see when they were getting it, and he said they already had some in stock. He said that it was supposed to sell for 70 bucks, but they didn't have the price for it on the computers yet so he gave it to us for 49.99!

All in all, it's a solid game, but it is really meant for beginners to DDR.

Exactly how hard does it get on the higher difficulty settings? Will you have any runs or drills, or is it all just easy plodding? I'm really interested in buying this at some point - but the difficulty level is really putting me off.

Well, the Super Hard (Challenge) can be compared to easy to medium difficulty in Heavy steps on DDR. The Very Hard (Heavy) steps can be compared to tougher Standard songs on DDr.

My sister really wants it, and since I am not that good at DDR, it will be good practise.

I've seen the trailers, and it looks... very easy. It also looks kind of neat, maybe even rent-worthy, but I'm not sure it would keep me occupied long enough if I were to buy it.

I thought it looked kind of lame, so I'm not interested. I don't even play DDR Extreme on my PS2, the last thing I need to do is participate in another Mario Athletics Game.

I"m a semi-beginner, and n00bs could play it easy. I said more crap, but my computer did some thing stupid. I made my point. Now go to Suggestions/Feedback and help me all ready!

Now that I've accumulated enough money, I plan to go out tomorrow and buy a copy. Regardless of how easy or hard it is, I want to try it out myself. I've only played DDR like twice, so a nice, private home version is just what I need! I'm really out of shape, so I bet it won't be so easy for me. I'll give you my impressions later this week after I've played with it for awhile.
