This is the official thread for your Nintendo WiFi ID numbers so that, when Nintendo WiFi (http://www.nintendowifi.com) launchs, we'll be ready for some action! I just made this, in advance, so that it can be stickied and we won't have to worry about it later. So, while we wait, who here is going to be playing Nintendo WiFi?

I read this on the front page as "RIP Nintendo WiFi" and had to move to another PC because of the shock.

I should be able to 'Kart at the end of this month, but I haven't worked out how I'll get it online...yet.

I'll be (hopefully) getting Kart for Christmas, and I'll be able to get online right away with my Wi-Fi computer network. I'm worried, however, that my firewall (ZoneAlarm) might prevent my DS from connecting to my network. Won't know until I get a Wi-Fi compatible game.

I want to WiFi, but I do not have any hotspots in a 2-mile radius that I know of. And I have no idea how to set it up, and my folks are probably not going to be able to afford it.

There is 3 Starbuck's in the same city as me (one just 2 miles away), but they are all to cheap to get a hotspot. I guess the closest place is the McDonalds next to the closest Starbucks to me... Just a question, thoguh. Do you have to be in the hot spot for it to work? If not, how far can you be away from the spot? If that's possible then I could still be in Starbucks and play Mario Kart DS!

$34.95 to be exact. It'll be available on Nintendo's Online Store, starting November 14th. I've also heard rumors stores will have them available when the game is released.

EDIT: Ok, guys, here's what to do.

1.Locate the Nintendo WFC Settings screen on the game you are playing (consult the manual for the game you are playing for more information).

2.Tap "Options"

3. Tap "System Information"

4. Your Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection ID will be the second item displayed.

Yeah, but am happy today, so I felt like having a good gloat. Whatever I say will expire when I get the game. If it hurt anybodys feelings, then that's my problem. I am trying to sound as lawyer-like as I can, because those guys are cool.

Never mind, I found out how to find the ID. I just hope that Nintendo makes partners with Starbuck's. If not, I will have to go to McDonalds, or Tierman's Bar and Grill.

Nintendo of Australia today (or yesterday) announced Wireless Game play on November 17th which coincides with Mario Kart Ds's release. So it looks like by Saturday/Sunday at the latest I'll be capable of showing you all how to really race.

It's the friend codes you need to collect. I posted a how-to from the site in another threaf, i'll go find it.

I'm going to post my info as soon as I go back to my dad's house later today. :p

If I'm not mistaken, you only need the friend code. You register your friend's Friend Code on your game, and, once that person registers your friend code, you can both access each other through a "friend roster."

I have 21 wins and 8 losses on Wi-Fi so far. Haven't seen an NOA yet....
