Meaningful songs

[Ice Lightning]

Are there any songs which provoke some kind of reaction in you whenever you hear them? Perhaps triggering a memory or always makes you feel happy or sad?

'Girl Anachronism' by Dresden Dolls is one song that does this for me. This song always reminds me way back to 2006 since it was the first song I heard by the band and it triggers a specific memory of my first girlfriend since it was her that introduced me to them. I just remember sitting on my bed listening to the song for the first time and loving it, playing it on repeat over and over again as it felt like it had such a strong tune. Can't listen to this now without a great sense of nostalgia, but that's not a bad thing :)

To be honest I tend to try and limit how often I hear the song in case the feeling ever goes away, I like that memory and I've no idea why :)

Let it Be by the Beatles.

One of my favorite songs, me and my old best friend Kaileigh listened to The Beatles together all the time, when she died last summer, as I stepped into the funeral home, the song was playing in the visitation room, I couldn't listen to it for months, but now, every time I hear it, I think about her, and it makes me feel alot better.

Born to Touch Your Feelings, by the Scorpions.

The music is really haunting, and lyrics give it perfection, as well as Klaus's vocals.. The mixture of acoustic guitar, synth, and some awesome lead guitar parts in the verses.

Just listen to the lyrics, learn them, and sing along. I don't know why, but my eyes water a bit. :)
