Such an obscure band. Someone needs to put up a music sample because a lot of people won't have a clue who this is.

I think I've heard of them, they did that Hey Jude, right? That's quite a cool song. Yeah, they're pretty good.

Revolution 9 scared the **** out of me as a kid.

Even stranger backwards. It's interesting to hear every now and then, though certainly not my favorite song by this amazing band.

"Turn me on dead man"

Great band, they defined they're musical era. The Paul McCartney-John Lennon team was completely genius. They were competitive, driving them to create better and better songs. They could write any style they wanted, ranging from Eleanor Rigby to Helter Skelter. They were the single most creative, ingenious band to exist.

They were all I listened to as little kid. I knew the words to almost every one of their songs. But as a teenager I've moved on to harder more brutal bands such as: Megadeth, Metallica, Dream Theater, Slayer, Anthrax and so forth.

Great band, tend to be a little overrated though. It varies from song to song, but they are not personally my style of music, though I don't mind listening to them now and then.

bumping cause ive been in a beatles mood lately idk

its really weird how they were basically like every other 50s soda shop group (even their name the BEATles is like the most painfully soda shop band name ever) but oops it turns out theyre magically somehow the most brilliant pop song writers ever

Beatles? More like Beat-less! haha, I'm so clver because I'm hating on The Beatles with that obvious, stupid pun.

Also I think they're overrated because Arin from Game Grumps said so and I'm too stupid to have my own opinion.

Fact: My last name is Lennon and I often get asked if I'm John Lennon's grandson.

So yeah, I'm kind of obliged to know everything about them.

They're arguably the greatest band to have ever existed, they invented and influenced 90% of all music genres we have today. I only started getting into them this last year but I'd argue it's impossible for them to be overrated, they can't be rated enough.

Also completely agree with Alakazam's original post.

the beatles arent a band you "evolve" from, if you like pop music you like pop music your whole life

i dont listen to them all the time or anything in fact i hadnt listened through a whole album in probably over a year until recently, but yes i still like them and i don't see why that should change after 4 years

I was just kidding.

I do like the beatles. They have fun songs, but also they have ones that are VERY sad, like Yesterday, elanor rigby, girl, your mother should know and many more.

I just remember confusing the Beatles with the Beach Boys when I was younger.

And that's my contribution to this thread.

Great band, innovative with their experimentation. No other band can say they've influenced so much great music. (Even Heavy Metal with their song Helter Skelter, which was like the heaviest song of the time.) Although there are some songs that aren't too great (Yellow Submarine I find to be bloody annoying, honestly), there are too many gems in their music not to call them great. I GOTS BLISTERS' ON MY FINGERS!

Because he put a ring on, and whoever wears that ring they sacrifice and he can't take it off.
And they don't want to cut off his finger because he needs it to drum?

Nope. Never seen it.

They have some songs I love, and some songs I hate. That makes me normal I guess.

They're the biggest band of all time (granted how much competition did they have, I mean seriously), but even all four of them in their solo careers were and are quite successful. Good group of guys playing very uncomplicated easy to listen to tunes. Much respect.

They're one of the bands I grew up with to an extent. Gotta love 'em.
