As much as we've praised the service, here is a disturbing story involving the Xbox Live community. A 26-year old male has been accused of molesting a 14-year old boy who he met via Xbox Live. According to the story, the two met on the service, conversed with each other through their headsets, and later their relationship moved onto e-mails, obscene webcam videos, and even a supposed rendezvous at a Santa Rosa park in California.

It's a scary story, but hopefully a very rare case. Nintendo has been very staunch with their Wi-Fi service, not allowing friend codes to be shared online. With an event like this, we can understand their fear. The 26-year old male did not enter a plea during yesterday's court appearance; he is free on bail and will appear in court again on the 20th of January.

From all your 3 stories, this one makes me fear more... :S
Fortunately I can punch all those sex-maniacs ;)
Unfortunately, there are small kids who can't do it :(

According to our paper, the kid also sent the guy video (or pictures, forget which) of him ****ing. The paper also said that the two of them met more than once, so it's pretty obvious that if the kid wasn't under 18, we wouldn't have heard about this. Either way, it's pretty sick.

Hasn't shaken my faith in Live, though - this kind of thing is rare, although it will probably become more common as time goes on. Maybe.

Well, I just gave you guys a (general) idea of where I live. x is sure to pounce on this.

I wonder if one of these days she will actually turn up on one of our doorsteps?

Not that I mind, of course - I'm just saying I wouldn't put it past her. :p

Whoa what the hell. I'm being talked about. I never come in this forum, lol.
Icy: YES I'M ONE STEP CLOSER!
Andre: shut up, boy, lol
BF: I'll be there in a couple months ;).

This article makes it sound all bad and stuff but you know what? I think the kid must have been enjoying it to have gone that far with it...
Just my opinion. lol

To me it sounds like the kid wanted to i mean he must have liked what was going on other wise he wouldn't have said/emailed him about to make the situation grow i personally find that very sick as i couldn't imagine why he would send photos of him pulling himself off. That's really twisted and sick.

Well, as long as we don't give out personal information over the internet (name, address, phone #, ect.), we're pretty much safe.

If anybody want's to come over and talk about this, I live at 123 Fake st.
