Both of these are selling points of their franchise. Their are some huge diffrences between them, but all in all, which is the most succeusful IYHO? Explain?

Stop n' Swap isn't a 'selling point' of the Banjo series, the only people who know about it are obsessed nerds (I.E. us) and it was implimented into later Banjo releases to cater to us.

It is defintely a selling point. How many people would have actually bought Tooie on the 360 if it lacked Stop'n'swop?

You could say it was a marketing trick, but I honestly wouldn't care if it had it or not. It was a hidden little joke to make the nerds go crazy.

The hardcore would buy it for the game not SNS. The casual wouldn't even know about so it wouldn't matter.

They are absolutely nothing alike. Stop n' Swap was a failed feature in the original games which is now an in-joke in the newer games for old fans. Nazi Zombies is an entire gamemode, they are nothing alike, I highly doubt anyone who doesn't actively play Rare games and go on Rare forums knows Stop n' Swap even exists.

Also, I bought Tooie on XBLA because (I thought, atleast) it was a great game and I wanted to play it again with sharper visuals and achievements, Stop n' Swap slightly swayed me to buy it just so I can see what it does, but if it wasn't there I still would have bought the game anyway.

Well then its a minior selling point in Rares modern games. In fact all of the last three banjos(ports included) Have included some form of Stop'n'Swop.

Even so, the two aren't comparable at all. Nazi Zombies is an entire game mode, Stop n' Swap is an in-joke and tiny feature that lets you unlock moves and accessories for your vehicles.

If anyone of them was more successful, it was Nazi Zombies. Nuts & Bolts sold bad, COD5 didn't.

Yes they are comparable. Right now we are comparing them. Isn't this fun?

Okay fine, good point.

So guys, what feature do you like better, Subspace Emissary Adventure Mode in Brawl, or Manual Reload in Gears of War? I have to say the manual reloading is a pretty neat feature, but it's no where near as good as an entire adventure mode, so Subspace Emissary is the better feature imo.

HUMANZ

yea subspace emissary is better.

Breegullbeak

Never played Gears but I'll say Brawl because I love it and the fact thats its quality side scrolling greatness.

How is this, in any way, shape, or form, related to insects and/or Jazzman's insect analogy?

I'm assuming the ant is Banjo Kazooie and the great white is COD.
We're rare fans so our answers will be biased toward Kazooie.

..no. His analogy was stating how ridiculous your comparison between the two in-game features was. No one is going to look at Nuts & Bolts and then COD5 and then say "Do I want Nazi Zombies or Stop n' Swap?". That's never ever going to happen ever and it never will, this topic makes no sense, that's what he and I were trying to prove.

I still, to this very day, have no idea what Stop 'N' Swops purpose was and quite frankly don't give a shit.

I don't think anyone who buys Nazi Zombies gives a shit about the story. Most people buy it because they like running around slaughtering Nazi's and they just like the mode.

I beg to differ. (http://forums.xbox.com/27673517/ShowPost.aspx)

There really is no realistic story that can be told for Nazi Zombies, their eyes glow and they can take like five shots without it detering their movement. I can understand games like Left 4 Dead where there's a virus and they're just normal people with an infection, but trying to explain good old-fashioned zombies is pointless. It's like trying to make a realistic explanation for leprechauns. Well, actually, there's always the "little alien bastards" route, but zombies aren't aliens.

But there is a story for the zombies. The Germans created them to use them as slaves, but they kinda over ran them. Same for the dogs, it was Sam's dog but it got lost in a teleporter, turning them into Hell Dogs.
