Hey, everyone! I was thinking about making some characters and/or stages for OpenArena based on Rare characters! I'm fairly inexperienced at modding for 3d games, so I was wondering if anyone could give tips on how to either rip models from the games, or if anyone had any 3d models of Banjo, Conker, Perfect Dark, etc. characters/levels, that'd be amazing

I'm sorry, but, what is OpenArena?

OpenArena's an opensource shooting game using the Quake III Engine, you can learn more here (http://www.openarena.ws/)

Interesting, hmm. I'd love to help, but I'm not really good at modelling or ripping them.
Just a thought, have you tried Bottles Glasses?

yeah, still trying to figure it out, but that's only for Banjo games, though, right? How about the other Rare Characters?
I'd like to see Banjo shooting the crap out of Juno or something like that :P

For ****s sake, first learn how to use google (http://www.google.com.mx/search?source=ig&hl=es&rlz=&=&q=how+to+rip+models+from+nintendo+64+games&btnG=Buscar+con+Google&meta=lr%3D&aq=f&oq=) then learn how model data is stored and how to program.
"Instead of asking us, LOOK FIRST. I dumped some models from an N64 ROM using a tutorial I found with Google. If you are so stupid that upon searching google for tutorials on it, maybe you should get rid of your computer and go back to hunting for your food."
heh, I even found the proper reply with google.
