BK:GR Release Date

August 29/2003 Main Update
Added four more screenshots from Banjo Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge. Also we have the new release date direct from THQ. It will now enjoy an October 3rd release.

I assume this was mentioned at ECTS, because the North American release was September 16th (and if I'm not mistaken, it still is, since many sources still confirm it)... which could be a bit confusing to the RWP's American readers (not the Canadians, of course ;)) when they read that "October 3rd" release, which is obviously the UK release.

Just thought I'd point this out for no particular reason ;)

And I'm guessing the Aussie release date is somewhere in the middle.

Aussie releases are at the same time as European releases, as Europe and Australia are both PAL territories. At least I think that's how it works.

My preorder thingy says the 10th of September for the ship date. It could be wrong I guess...

I've heard both 9/10 and 9/15. All I have to do is decide on which day I want to zoom off to EB - 9/11 (probably not, because of school pictures, but I never know) or 9/16. :D

Since the games coming out so soon, shouldn't there be an official site or at least some word on the nintendo site?

the domain gruntysrevenge.com directs to Nintendos main site, so I guess it's only a matter of time before they put something there.

I don't know about that. That domain has been like that for the past year and a half, and it hasn't changed since... I always type that domain to go to Nintendo's site. :D

Besides, since Nintendo owns the domain (check register.com for details), they're not gonna make a website for a game they aren't even publishing! I think they're just gonna leave the site alone or give up the domain.

Actually, BK:GR isn't even on their "announced" list. Banjo pilot was though...
