Today, I went into the Able Sisters' shop to maintain the friendship I had made with Sable. But, today, she spaced out when I talked to her. I got two options, "What happened?" and "Nothing."
I chose what happened, but she acted weird and I stopped talking to her. So, I talked to Mable. She sighed, and, when the options came up, I saw a new one that read, "What's wrong." I chose it and this is what she said,
Mable: "Umm... Well, I was just.... Thing is, my sister has been such a space cadet lately... She always gets this way at this time of year... this part of winter. Are there colds that hit people at the exact same time of year, every year?"
This gained my interest, so I went back to talk to Sable. I got the same response as the last time.
I hung around the shop for a while, looking at the patterns me and some others here had made. But, I left in a hurry when, all of a sudden, Mable runs up behind me and lets out a big, long sigh right behind me without me even talking to her.
So, I was outside. I had been talking with everyone, getting them to sing to me. (It's La-Di-Day today.) Then, I came across Purrl. She said something very interesting to me,
Purrl: "Did you hear about Sable... Oh, no... never mind. I can't tell you. That's a ME-cret."
That was obviously supposed to suggest she has a secret that is hers.... That's why she says "me."
... But, that's besides the point. Obviously, some sort of sickness happened to Sable in her past, but has anyone ever gotten full details about this?
