Heh, I just happened to see this on Video Google while I looking for the classic Star Fox 64 video Ad (Heh, "What are you doing to Mario?!""We're done!""Welcome to Versus Mode, Gentlemen!""You didn't tell them... About the Rumble Pak, did you, Billy?!"), and I thought I should share... ;)

Heh, yup.
Kinda cheezy, but it's old, it's supposed to make you go, "WTF were they thinking?!"
;)

Well, I thought it was a nice way to spend 13 minute and 2 seconds. I was like, "Man, these guys are cheesy to the extreme!"

Now I have a deep craving for playing DKC incredibly loud.

Argh! The early nineties attack!

It's amazing to think it was made so long ago, really. It's still an excellent, excellent game - but it just does not seem that long ago since it was released. Heh...

Well, it does give you an inside look at NOA. Not as exciting as I imagined it, but then again, a decade has passed.

Yeah they do that same thing with Killer Instinct Gold for the N64 release promo tape too.

DKC was why i got a Snes (first game and system that i was able to get - games are expensive when you're 12)

Well that was something i'd never seen, and i thought it was awesome, just like the 1hr movie that i saw "Inside Nintendo BBC" very cool look at Japan Nintendo (which was also on google videos)!

If anyone finds anymore Official Nintendo videos like let me know!

It's got the guys that i saw on the Nintedo 64 VHS launch tape, that i have got (Armond Williams <-> now works for Microsoft now i think, Henry Sternchi and Ken Lobb <-> Who also works for Microsoft now i think)) and i saw for the first time Dan Owsen! He localizes the LoZ games! And most other great Nintendo games^.^

I saw the DKC Debug Display too!
Never seen that before!!
It gets displayed 5 times throughout.
Time 8.26
Time 9.01
Time 9.35
Time 11.43 for a spilt milli-second
Time 11.54

Dang i want to hack that! Hopefully it's not removed!

But the most shocking thing was the amount of Bananas that the testers had in the Debug Version of DKC!
Normally (in release versions) you get 99 bannanas and 1 more you'd get an extra life...

Just look at these pictures!!

(Okay i fixed that one up LaorBR, i just recognized the BG and instantly thought of the 1st level...)

[Pointless correction mode]Ahem, it's not the first stage in that 572 bananas picture, there are no barrel cannons on the first stage. You can tell DK is being launched by a barrel cannon because of the smoke trail he's leaving behind. [pointless correction done]

Okay, I'll stop being annoying now :p
Hey, that banana thing is quite interesting. Maybe, they thought about adding a high score of how many bananas you had collected per stage. Or perhaps you had to exchange every 100 bananas you had collected for an extra life at the end of the stage, like you do in the animals bonus rooms.

Or maybe they just haven't been able to implement extra lives yet. :p

Ha! I've never seen that video before, so it's all new to me... What's pretty crazy is that you can actually see a difference in the times!

I just realized. They're at Nintendo of America doing that, when the game was created at Rare in England.

Basically, they're finding bugs and making suggestions to the boys in England.
