Well, you are experts with secrets, which are never found, I know it :D
But the game isn`t a Banjo Game ... not even a game by Rare.
I am speaking from Ridge Racer 64 - a good old arcade racing game by namco.

First of all a little introduction:
Well, the game has 3 different track sets (City/Beach, Mountain, Desert), a short novice track, a longer more difficult intermediate track and a very long expert track on each track set.
Example Screens for better understanding, look to the maps on the shots:

Start and Finish is the same of the 3 different tracks of each track set (some exception exist), but they split after a short time in different directions and come near Start/Finish line together, hope some guys of you know the Ridge Racer principle.
Example Screens for better understanding again:

Ok, now I come to my question:
on Revolution I found an exit, which I never passed in the whole game and the game hasn`t many tracks really...
Screenshot (from Track Set "Revolution")
Here the "secret track exit" screenshots from Revolution-Expert...

hmm and the possible entry on Revolution-intermediate ..

so, please help me to unlock this possible secret f*** track, I didn`t found any cheats about a secret track :(
If you can not help me, this will be a locked secret for ever...

Hey, hi there Cr3@v10N! Good to see you back. How are your unreal projects doing?

Well, about RR64... I have no idea, LOL!

I think that in the novice tracks those forks are there with a "turn right" sign.
Maybe it's just there to show that you're not supposed to go that way?
That screenshot of the tunnel is interesting, though. I have noticed it before, but I never thought about it...

Wow, I never expected to see you back :D

I've seen this in other games. Because of its abundance, I'd say its just for decoration, but that's just me.

Perhaps they did that so people would think it's a super secret way, try to crash through, and end up slowing down. ending in frustration.

@unreal project: Staff shortage and to little progresses in the development were the reasons, why I came to the decision to end usu. This is two weeks ago and some days. But our work wasn`t for nothing, we merged with the team of Lost Secrets of Na Pali, which had the same goals as our ex-team. It was nearly perfect. Before the shut down of usu we worked often together, swaped scripts and help and so on. The first reactions of some teammembers from me weren`t good, but after some nagging, they followed me to lsonp and the fusion was ended.

Ok, back to topic.
So, hey, I know, that some good n64 rom hacker are here... I know self, that is no rare game, but a game with a very mystic secret too... see it as never found jiggie or ?-egg .... lol.

@Goatmancer: Hope, you are not right with your opinion, but nobody can say it really, the rom cries to be hack. I begin to hate console game developer, they think, they can do what they want, they all. The players have no chance to get this secrets, unless somebody hacks this crap... *g*

Glad to see you came back Cr3@v10|\|!

Ridge Racer 64... I remember that game! I haven't played an N64 game in ages, so I doubt I'll be able to help you any, but from an educated guess, I'd say that "track exit" is nothing more than something for show.

A lot of games such as San Francisco Rush or Burnout for the GameCube have similar track exits. For example, the original Burnout has a course where the entire track is set on a freeway. There are lots of off-ramps/exits on the freeway (as one would see in real life) where these exits take you to another road that goes somewhere. However, these exits do not follow the course and are only there to heighten the sense of reality and detail. Thus, I'd say that's merely what the problem is. I think you're looking too far into a obscure situation.

But then again I'm not a hacker so... :o

@Goatmancer: Hope, you are not right with your opinion, but nobod....

I hope so too. It's just that you have to be ready for any possability. It would be cool to see the secret path.
