I have agreement, Mario is old hat (or at least red hat). With all the moves Banjo and Kazooie have, uh... something!

That is the greatest Grunty's Lair I have ever seen.

That's a pretty good start :) I hope to see other banjo levels in the future (with better textures :p)

I don't want to be the whiney tosspot who pisses on the bonfire but it's kind of ugly isn't it? The textures are all changed for the worse...

Yeah, Mario64 didn't support high-res(64x64) textures, and alpha blending. Thus it would never look as good as it did in Banjo-Kazooie. If he spent more time on it, he probably could have fixed a few things up a bit, like those flowers.

Anyhow, very cool to see. Hopefully we can get model importing working in Banjo-Kazooie soon.

It really needs shading. Amazing how much shading can do.

Wow! Who knows; maybe at some point we could have Banjo-Kazooie starring Mario! Or vice-versa, now that Bottles' Glasses is complete.

Alright. I've posted this in half a dozen threads bu it seems only subdrag could find his way to the lair of awsomeness.

I said I was having troble using the spiral mouantin A obj. (turns out I was failing more then I thought) and asked for help. He asked for the file and posted video 1 without textures. Rock on messiaen(frauber of youtube/ the creator of the only finished full SM64 hack: the missing stars). VL-tone the creator of Toad's tool then tried adding textures after he asked for them, and then we get this.

My name was on the video, but I commented on how I really didn't do jack shit and that cooliscool is the one to credit.

"While I did get you the file, I can't take credit for obtaining it. Thank Cooliscool of the RWP"

Just don't plan any long term projects just yet. Toad's Tool is getting a update by the end of the year.

In fact, looking at the scales of the levels in comparison to Mario, I'd say completely the opposite. Mario is bigger than Banjo, you can see that because the levels look smaller when playing as Mario than as Banjo.

Unless Banjo is bigger to begin with. I think someone also said the levels are scaled down, too...

Wow, that is mighty impressive :D I'd love to see more maps get imported to SM64, like Treasure Trove Cove or CCW or something.

Rusty bucket bay actually is made of all 32x32 textures.

I was also about to ask him about Treasure Trove Cove.

Treasure Trove Cove FTW. Now I just need to figure out why it's not putting the textures in right.
